On Saturday night... janice, gina and i met up for halloween pre-'night' after a long hesitation... because i didn't prepare any costume this year... I just grabbed whatever i have in my wardrobe... satin cross back lingerie, satin gloves and fishnet stockings. wanted to party at mos... but janice and gina changed their mind when I was just about to reach... so we headed to saint james... but due to some reasons again... we decided to head back to plush. By that time it was already 1.45am... we have yet stepped into a club... and before we could even do so... janice had to leave :( gina and i continued with our program... partied at Plush till about 5am.
((sometimes i wished i am in the same shoe... hoping that someone would call me and command me to meet him. but i guess that day will never come... sigh... if only he cares...))
On Sunday afternoon... lawrence, my sis, her bf wilfred and i played pool at bukit timah shopping centre. played till 7pm plus and we headed to the prawning place at Farmart (67 Sungei Tengah Rd, off Choa Chu Kang Rd)... prawned for 3 hours... but guess how many prawns we caught?... only 4 pathetic prawns... hahaa... but it was the fun we were paying for... mummy said with the $52 we paid... she could have gotten us loads of prawns from the market.
no prawns to eat... so no choice... have to buy food from the eating house. chicken wings, satay and sambal stingray... didn't get prawns cus we were hoping that we would catch and cook. lol.
Wednesday... work at Raffles Country Club with madeline...
On Friday... the day finally arrived... we had to perform... sing and act out a skit... wore the Indonesian costume... it was such a relief when the whole project performance ended... anyway i had to act like i was flirting with the prince... in front of 200 audience... hmpf... so embarrassing (0"0)

Met up with lawrence at Cineleisure after the performance... he was late for an hour... hmPf... but i know it's because of work. Anyway... dearie bought me a soft toy cat... so prettyyy... i wanted it so badly... but feel so bad for making him buy... $60 for a soft toy =( thank you Love.

I wanted her name to be something like "diamond", "princess" or "duchess"... something along that line... but dearie say... "Call her Meow Meow." alright larrr... quite cute... so i call her meow meow.
yesterday... it was family gathering... my aunts, uncles and cousins went over to my grandparents' place... to celebrate my grandfather's 77th birthday... in the evening... lawrence and i went to queensway shopping centre... he bought 2 pairs of bling bling shoes, a polka dot t-shirt, a rubber keyboard, a mouse with boobs and a magic toy. i bought nothing from there at all :( wanted to get a red geeky plastic specs to wear to sch... but couldn't really find one that i really like... and the one that i think looks rather alright on me cost about $120... the point is i only want to wear it as a fashion icon for sch! i already have 3 pairs of glasses with the same degree at home... including the broken frameless Dior pair :( which i need to send for repair. (Right at this point... i turned to the small table next to my bed to look for my glasses...i couldn't find... screamed down to my maid... "Ruki, did you see my broken glasses?"...my mum replied... "Oh. I threw it away.") WHAT THE F*CK! !@#$% my god... the frameless glasses i barely wore more than 20 times... i could have just sent it for repair... and they can just simply make another lens for the broken left lens. freaking angry and upset... can't my mum use her common sense at times! at least ask me before throwing away my stuff! (I called lawrence and cried like crazy... he knows i was damn upset when i broke the glasses while quarreling with him... then my mum threw it away... made me doubly upset... dearie asked "Aiyo... you cry like baby... you're obsessed with spectacles it it?"...) Then i realised... i'm a little obsessed with specs... even though i only wear them at home... but still!!!... there's nothing wrong with being obsessed with spectacles right! argh! i'm not going to talk to my mum today! she treated as if she did nothing... "Go hongkong and buy again lo." (because i bought that pair from hk) freaking pissed!!!! At least, my aunt consoled me and said she will bring me to make a new pair... but still... I'm short with one style of glasses! that's the only pair which can match with most of my clothes! this is supposed to be a happy happy post... my mum spoilt it all! wanted to tell everyone about my new discovery... sigh... now i have no mood to blog about it :( Back to the topic on shopping at Queensway... anyway, the shops closed rather early... around 9pm. dearie asked if i have any place in mind that i want to go... suggested Holland V for drinks, food and ice cream... but he wasn't keen... the only 24 hrs place i could think of was MUSTAFA... and i have yet to explore that place... likewise, he too have not. so we decided to make our way there... the Little India street was crowded with indians... i never knew so many Indians are residing in Singapore. it was my virgin trip to Mustafa... (for those who have been there... please do not read any further... otherwise I might sound like a mountain tortoise to you...)

see what lawrence found?... an electronic dartboard... we never expect we'll find it that there... dearie bought it at a reasonable price of $95. other than that... bought some can food and toiletries.
i must say it was really an eye-opener for the both of us. "You name it, they have it!" I mean it. it was damn amazing... from the most common to the most uncommon things... if you are looking for a similar pair of old spoilt limited edition watch that you once had. you can try looking there... and if you can't find an old vcd... you can also try there... perfumes and colognes... thousands of variety... shelves and shelves of shavers and toothbrush... even masking tapes... scotch tapes... they have at least a hundred kind... from food, snacks, car, conning ware, clothes, shoes, bag, cosmetics, toiletries, medical, electronic products, antique phones, furniture, jewellery, party props, IT products, toys, wheelchairs, sports products... OMGoodness... i can't even remember what they have... the variety is unbelievably ridiculous. dearie and i shopped there from 9 plus to 1am... we couldn't even finished walking all the departments. I wanted to take pictures of the departments... but people kept staring... I felt so embarrassed... and it made me looked like some mountain tortoise. Aiya for those who haven't been there... just go and explore. But if you happen to make a trip there... and in the end don't find it amazing... then so be it. I didn't a point a gun at you and force you to go there ah =p after a fruitful shopping day... *point finger at lawrence*... we went to Chinatown for supper...
see... almost everything is his! :(
so hungry after shopping... (i rarely say i'm hungry ok.) dearie ordered oyster egg, pork rib, claypot frog, sambal kangkong and hotplate tofu...
see... i only have all these... hello kitty shaver, pink electronic toothbrush... Gillette shaver refills and Haribu gummy bears.
Visited the zoo again! this time with lawrence on sunday noon... the animals mostly the same as the previous trip... but saw a few animals that i didn't see the last time...

Headed to vivo city after that... shop around and nearly fainted before we could decide where to have dinner... every restaurant that we wanted to try had a long queue... in the end we settled for Kim Gary... the steak hot plate set meal was good :) dearie... thanks for making my day a happie one :) i appreciate the effort you made to wake up earlier to bring me to the zoo.
Friday night... after work at Aranda Country Club... headed to Plush's pre launch... met up with my dear girls... janice, gina and summer. didn't notice any change... except for the fact that the management and the name of the club has changed... oh, and the crowd, particularly the 'boys', seemed very much younger.

Recently, too many unhappy things happen... that somehow affected the way i view things... i don't know what else can i do to make things work... i can no longer tell what's right from wrong... i've resorted to things that i have never ever done in my life... to vent the anger i have within... be it angry with myself or with someone else. i find myself crying in the middle of the night... with no one i can rely on by beside... who can i seek comfort from?
i broke my dior glasses last night :'( mummy asked how i broke it... i didn't know what to say... just kept mum about it :|
i have to learn a few Indonesian songs for the Bahasa Indonesia project... among a few them... i find this quite nice actually *lauffs...
I'm going to hit the sheets soon... insomnia back again :(
After one week since we entered into a new chapter... i finally understand one thing... it's not about what i should do as a girlfriend... but rather understand what my boyfriend really wants. In the past... i tried to be a SUPER girlfriend... cracking my brains every now and then... thinking what surprises can i give my boyfriend so that he'll be happy... and think what should a perfect girlfriend be like... in other words... i was trying so hard to be every guys' dream girl... asking myself repeatedly... 'what have i not done enough as a girlfriend?' after all the shouting, tears and talks... i finally figured out one thing... understanding what he really wants is probably the only way to his heart.
through all the storms we've endured... i still love you...
Saturday evening... Janice, Gina and I meet up at Bugis for shopping... bumped into Joreen while we were shopping... so we ended up shopping together. After shopping... I was going to head to Lunar to meet the usual bro gang... managed to persuade gina and joreen to join me :) summer went there too. Kinda like that place even though it's not a place to shake your boogies... a place to drink and enjoy those emo chinese songs... I definitely prefer Lunar over dragonfly... the red sofas and cushions are so comfortable... that you probably would fall asleep in the midst of your sorrowfulness unknowingly.
Last thursday... met up with some of my sec sch classmates at holland v... we had dinner at Breko... sydney and i decided to give the 3 september babies a mini birthday surprise... we brought 3 small cakes for the 3 of them... we couldn't light up the candles because of the ceiling fan above us... that explains their funny expressions in the photos...
13 years of friendship... still counting!
stayed at Breko till 11 plus... we seldom get to meet one another... and we don't know when's the next time we will meet... so yvonne, gary and i headed to sydney's place... at 4am ... we went to the prata place at west coast for supper. we had so much to catch up... had good laughs :) love you guys to bits! it's always so heart-warming to know that your good old friends care so much about you :)

Time pass damn fast larrrr... My exams are round the corner again :( It seems as if school just started not too long ago. I'm not sure if I'm really coping well...
Recently, too many unhappy things happen... that somehow affected the way i view things... i don't know what else can i do to make things work... i can no longer tell what's right from wrong... i've resorted to things that i have never ever done in my life... to vent the anger i have within... be it angry with myself or with someone else. i find myself crying in the middle of the night... with no one i can rely on by beside... who can i seek comfort from?
i broke my dior glasses last night :'( mummy asked how i broke it... i didn't know what to say... just kept mum about it :|
i have to learn a few Indonesian songs for the Bahasa Indonesia project... among a few them... i find this quite nice actually *lauffs...
I'm going to hit the sheets soon... insomnia back again :(

After one week since we entered into a new chapter... i finally understand one thing... it's not about what i should do as a girlfriend... but rather understand what my boyfriend really wants. In the past... i tried to be a SUPER girlfriend... cracking my brains every now and then... thinking what surprises can i give my boyfriend so that he'll be happy... and think what should a perfect girlfriend be like... in other words... i was trying so hard to be every guys' dream girl... asking myself repeatedly... 'what have i not done enough as a girlfriend?' after all the shouting, tears and talks... i finally figured out one thing... understanding what he really wants is probably the only way to his heart.

Saturday evening... Janice, Gina and I meet up at Bugis for shopping... bumped into Joreen while we were shopping... so we ended up shopping together. After shopping... I was going to head to Lunar to meet the usual bro gang... managed to persuade gina and joreen to join me :) summer went there too. Kinda like that place even though it's not a place to shake your boogies... a place to drink and enjoy those emo chinese songs... I definitely prefer Lunar over dragonfly... the red sofas and cushions are so comfortable... that you probably would fall asleep in the midst of your sorrowfulness unknowingly.

Last thursday... met up with some of my sec sch classmates at holland v... we had dinner at Breko... sydney and i decided to give the 3 september babies a mini birthday surprise... we brought 3 small cakes for the 3 of them... we couldn't light up the candles because of the ceiling fan above us... that explains their funny expressions in the photos...
13 years of friendship... still counting!
stayed at Breko till 11 plus... we seldom get to meet one another... and we don't know when's the next time we will meet... so yvonne, gary and i headed to sydney's place... at 4am ... we went to the prata place at west coast for supper. we had so much to catch up... had good laughs :) love you guys to bits! it's always so heart-warming to know that your good old friends care so much about you :)
