I feel as though my whole body is breaking anytime after 3 sleepless night...
my shoulders are in pain even after a massage from dar³.
I can't even have a proper night sleep now...
got to rush a couple of assignments deadline tomorrow and sunday.
I highly doubt I can finish in time.
Dar³ left me home alone with Buffie again...
he's enjoying his night outside while his poor gf is burning midnight oil for schoolwork...
the time he spends in his room is even lesser than the time I spend in his room... lol.
the bolsters and pillows love me more than him...
looking around... it seems like i see more of my stuffs than his. hahaaaa...
very soon.. i will dominate the whole room...
the wardrobe will be filled with my clothes to the max...
the bed will get more and more stuffed toys (currently already have 7)
(i can hear a voice from somewhere... "continue to dream on...")
Pardon me. I'm a little bit cranky now after sleepless night.
I wish I can totally crash the bed now...
But I've got to continue with the damn pile of workload.

Dar³ is in taipei shopping now... so shiok...
i want too! can't wait for our trip in april...
most probably going to taipei again!
yippie... Taipei loves! can't seem to get sick of it.
can't wait to go back there

must follow his stringent standard procedures. lol.
i rarely shop in singapore nowadays...
most of my clothes are from Taipei, F21, VS sprees...
clothes in sg retail shops are getting a little too boring...
expensive yet low quality.
It's also cheaper to buy f21 from states...
Even luxury items are so expensive over in sg...
dar helped me saved lots of money by helping me get my stuffs overseas.
My chanel bag cost $2.8k plus when he bought in milan...
as compared to $3.6k plus in sg... which is close to $1k cheaper...
the prada wallet he bought for me was about $150 cheaper...
and he helped my friends get their gucci wallets at $459,
which are selling at $630 in SG.
The total amount we've saved can actually buy us another big item.
so it doesn't make any sense to spend money in singapore.
dar³ never fail to help me and my friends to get stuffs when we ask for favours

Yesterday was our 8th Mensiversary...
Dar³ woke up early and ask me to choose 1, 2 or 3.
And I chose 1... then he say "1" is "Home"...
i say 2 and 3 leh? He say 2 - Japanese and 3- Cafe Cartel.
But in the end he still bring me to Cafe Cartel... hee.
Anyway... Buffie has new garment again!

I'm starting to get a little impatient by my desktop. It has been lagging tremendously. Ever since my AVG expired, viruses started attacking my com.
About 2 weeks ago, Dar came back from Auckland. I brought all the ingredients to make onigiri to his place. We sat down together with his parents and sis at the living room to make onigiris for dinner. I was glad that his parents enjoyed it too :)
In the night, we met up with sam, gab, bert and cashe at boat quay. Bert was very sweet, he bought sam and i a stalk of rose each when someone came into the pub to sell roses. Honestly, the roses were a little overpriced but it was so nice of bert to buy us the roses without hesitation. Our boyfriends didn't even bother to take a second look at the guy who was selling the roses. The roses made the 2 girls smile :) Thanks bert!

My most awesome valentine's day... (which we celebrated on 12th February).
Dar³ was supposed to pick me up at 2pm at my place. He repeatedly told me not to be late and that I better be done when he reaches my place. But he himself was late. He only picked me up at about 3pm! (of course it came with loads of excuses...)
But his surprises did made up for it :)
I hopped onto the car when he reached my doorstep. I had no idea where was he going to bring me to and he didn't want to tell me. (But somehow my instincts were right!)
He drove into this small Bishan Park carpark (it's actually at Ang Mo Kio), and we alighted. We walked about a few minutes and here we are at the place where dar made an appointment...

Dropped by Agnes' place to collect my F21 and VS loots and this lovely girlfriend of mine helped me iron my dresses so I can wear them for the night. And she even surprised me with a lovely pink tube dress. Totally love it to bits :) I wore the dress for the night. Thanks my dear girl! She is one best friend who never fails me :)
I totally had no idea where was dar going to bring me for dinner... until I saw "Vivocity". And I said... "Must be OneDegree15!"
And so Part II of Vday program... Love revitalized @ OneDegree15...
We decided to go for the buffet in the end because they removed the Wagyu Beef from the main course menu.
Before starting our dinner... I gave dar³ his vday pressie...
Guess what is it this time?...
"Yay! Now I got branded passport holder!
Now I can throw away my cheesy Mr Bean passport holder!"

To be honest, this wasn't exactly my first choice. Yes, I was adamant in getting a passport holder for dar³... because I think he really need a nice decent passport holder to match his uniform. I really wanted to get a LV Grey Damier Canvas design passport holder for him with personalized embossing, but only to realised that LV doesn't have passport holder in that colour. They only have the passport holder in LV monogram and brown damier canvas, which look abit too gayish for him (They better not launch the passport in that grey damier canvas, otherwise I will be so upset.) I hunt the whole of taka and paragon... only to find 4 brands carry passport holders... LV, mont blanc, dunhill and ferragamo. Mont Blanc was totally not my choice because SQ sell it in their in-flight duty-free magazine. So Ferragamo appeared to me as the most ideal choice because dar³ once like the white wallet from the same serie.
I hope dar³ likes the passport holder. And I'm starting to love it too!
Enough about the pressie... it's foodie time!
After dinner... it came my 3rd surprise of the day...
the loveliest one among all that i've received :)
Part III - Love reignited @ the beach
Before leaving the house, dar³ secretly brought all his "surprises" to the car without even telling me. He didn't allow me to get out of the room until he say so. The next moment I knew was his mum knocking on the door to tell me dar³ ask me to go down. I thought what was he up to this time. But saw his car waiting for me. He already covered all the stuffs with all our soft toys at the back.
Dar³ asked me to stay in the car while he set up his surprise and passed me his car keys. 10 minutes later... dar called me and i came out of the car and walked towards the direction he told me to.
Tada! Dar³ set up this open-concept tent which is not exactly a tent, facing the sea.
And then, Dar asked me to walk into the tent to see what's there...

Hee... so cute. So this was the thing that Dar³ spent time doing the day before. He say the 'bride' too difficult to do. So only did the 'groom'. lol.
We spent a couple of hours at the beach drinking and eating before we headed back home.
Our night continued with 'closed doors' back in b.panjang.

Dardar made breakfast for me this morning:) He woke up when I was still fast asleep and went to the supermarket to get Vanilla ice cream. But I didn't even know he was not sleeping beside me. The next thing I knew was he entering into the room and said "Ohaiyo gozaimasu!" loudly . For moment, I thought he was trying to disturb me... until I opened my eyes and saw him carrying a tray into the room. He made 爱心早餐, Heart-shaped waffles with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup, and a glass of fresh orange juice for me! Felt so delightful! I sat up on the bed immediately!
I LOVE BREAKFAST MADE BY MR KHOO!
In the noon, dardar went into the kitchen and didn't allow me to go in till he's done with what he wanted to do. He made glutinous rice balls :)
It seems like we've been whipping up more and more food. But I totally love cooking for mr khoo (put aside whether it taste yummy or not, mrkhoo has to finish it be it yummy or yucky =p). Last night, I cooked Carbonara Pasta with animal-shaped pasta for dar, his sis and mum :)

More than a week ago, Dar³ came back from his hk-frisco flight after 7 long days...
As usual... dar³ never come home empty handed for his lil' princess.
He managed to help me get some of the stuffs I wanted from VS...
and got me some pretty cases for my iPhone from hk.
I've got my tuxedo babydoll! And a satin nightie wrap...
dar³ bought 6 bottles of bodywash back for his mum and me...
*makes us smells yummy*
And a "big" lovely surprise all the way from hk...
Dar³ text me when he was in hk to tell me he got me something "big and long",
and that I would definitely be thrilled when I see it.
I was curious but he didn't allow me to probe further.
And I had to wait till he comes home.
He unpacked his luggage the moment he got home...
and threw a big red plastic bag with something huge in it to me...
I peeked through the bag...
omgoodness...
He actually chanced upon this in hk! I was EXTREMELY thrilled!
We saw this at the makeshift arcade at east coast park about a month or two back...
and i really wanted it, so we asked the arcade owner how can we get it...
and he said we have to hit JACKPOT twice.
We weren't sure that if we could bring home that even if we spend $200 trying our luck...
and so we dismiss the idea of playing.
Dar³ said that when he saw it in hk...
he knew that by hook or by crook, he will buy it back for me :)
Buffie says, "Daddy is the best-est-est-est Daddy in the whole wide world!"...
"He bought a bunch of banana back for me to sleep on, so comfy!"
And now... the car really has overflowing number of stuff toys...
so much so that it's so difficult to even fit them into a picture.
His parents often say, “你的车真的太多玩具。。。”
and dar³ will turn to me and say, “听到了没有？”
or he will reply them, “你问那个坐在前面的lor。。。” (obviously referring to me)
Yalayala~... i don't care! Because they are damn cute!
And I know dar³ pampers me to the max!
Yes, I'm his pampered lil' princess...
but it's definitely not one-sided. (Dar³ knows it deeply in his heart :))
I had a surprise planned for dar³ too...
when I say "surprise"... i meant "S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E"...
because he totally didn't expect it coming.
Two days before he came back...
I started to search online for restaurants with nice romantic ambiance...
I wanted to find a outdoor restaurant with a nice seaview...
unfortunately... I couldn't find any even after surfing online for 3 hours.
Nonetheless... I manage to shortlist a few romantic restaurants...
and up at the top of my list was a nearby newly open restaurant + chillout place...
called "Firestation Hillview Gastrobar".
The day before he touched down in SG...
I went to town frantically searching for a shirt for him that would go along well with my tuxedo babydoll theme.
After running in and out of several boutiques...
I finally found a perfect shirt at French Connection.
Brilliant! It was just what I wanted!
The salesgirl over at Tangs French Connection was really nice :)
I quickly got the shirt and rushed over to Spotlight at PS to get materials for my main surprise.
I made a reservation and special arrangements with the restaurant.
I went to school the next morning just to pass the pressie to delwyn so they could help me bring the surprise to the restaurant despite how sick I was feeling due to insufficient rest from preparing the pressie. It was so nice of my dear girl who offered to do me the favour without me asking. I went back to dar³'s place straight after that because i getting more and more nauseous.

Anyway, I passed dar³ the first surprise - the shirt, when he gave me all the pressies...
and I told him... "Lets go for a nice dinner tonight, I've made a reservation."...
and he agreed to it :) (he merely thought i wanted a nice dinner)
So we arrived at the restaurant at 8pm.
And I approached one of the waiter... "I've made a reservation under...."
I haven't even complete my sentence...
and the waiter knew what he had to do.
He led us to the only table which was already set.
And I started seeing all the waiters/waitresses in a panicky mode.
(ops... dar knew something was up in my sleeve when the waiters weren't acting usual)
I actually made a special booklet for dar³ and arranged it to be handed over to dar³ together with their small clipboard menu, so that dar would naturally think it's their main menu.
To cut the story short, Dar was surprised when he opened up the booklet :)
And we proceeded to order our food! I insisted that it will my treat!...

I totally love this. It tasted real tender...
much more tender than all the tenderloin and ribeye steaks I've tried by far...

And to be honest, i don't know why but it feels even tastier
than the kobe beef I've had in Japan a few years back.
Though a bit pricey for the size, but it was worth it :)

Those who have dates should be out dating by now.
I'm back at home... waiting for dar³ to return back to his hotel room and come online.
We'll spend our valentine's day over skype...

I was such a blur sotong today.
I woke up early in the morning... partly because dar³ called me when he was at the Gucci boutique to ask me about the stuffs I asked him to help get for my friends. I didn't go back to bed after that. I planned to go to town to shop for "ahem" before my class starts at 6pm. For the first time, I walked from Taka to Paragon, back to Taka, then to paragon again...
thru and fro for at least 5 times, just to get the item I wanted to buy. I practically walked into every boutique just to check if they have a particular item. I looked at my watch 5.40pm and I started to panic... cus I was afraid that I would be late for class and the tutor would mark me absent. I went to taxi stand and saw a long queue, without hesitation I whipped my phone out and called for a cab. The cab arrived within 3 minutes, and I hopped onto the cab and told the cab driver "NUS" and I asked him if he could drive a little faster cus I was going to be late for my 6pm class. But the cab driver doesn't seem to think I'll be late. Upon reaching, I took out my phone. Behold! It was only 4.50pm! OMG. I didn't see the time correctly. Damn it. I was not totally done with my shopping yet, would have continued shopping. Or I would have queued for the taxi if I know I was 1hr 20 mins early. When dar reads this he sure say me... cus I called dar on the way and complained to him how tired my legs were, how hungry I was and that I don't have anymore time to eat.
Lesson: I need a new watch that can show me the time clearly. whahahaa!

UPDATE:
omg i think i said those too early...
today our tutor just gave us a crazily heavy assignment...
we have to come up with 2 versions of NUS and CNM ken burns effect video clip.
have to take 40-70 pictures for each plot. how to finish in time??
oOoo.. i feel so proud of myself...
i completed my nm3208 assignment 2!
And even updated my learning journal!
Designing content for new media... i'm loving it!
But I can't say the same for e-learning.
It totally sucks. I bet Gary agrees to it (and many more others).
Every time we are on the phone, we curse and swear taking e-learning.
We totally regret taking the module.
So many online assignments, and we have to blog every week's readings.
I hate it even more now when I'm stuck with a 3-member project group.
It's not fair at all when the other groups in the tutorial group has 5 members.
I'm seriously worried about this module :(
I totally regret even more when I think about the stupidest decision I made to forgo NM4210: User Design Experience instead of E-Learning.
Otherwise, I bet I will be enjoying NM4210 classes now.

Dar³ was on leave from 22nd to 27th January! Yippie! He bidded his leave for my birthday last year :) And so it officially started from this day! But actually to me it started more than a week before this... cus after his long flight from frankfurt, from 13th January, he only did 1 Penang turn and 1 Hongkong turn. So he was practically in SG everyday from 13th t0 27th January! For 2 weeks, I didn't go home =p Except for a few hours after I clubbed at butterfac and dar came to pick me up the next morning :)
Anyway, wanted to treat dar³ to the Sabai, the Authentic Fine Thai Cuisine restaurant for dinner. But the restaurant was not open yet, and both of us were famished. So in the end we crossed over to Paragon to settle for Thai Express instead :(

Met up with my lovely girls for a nightout, as well as a mini birthday celebration. We ended up at Butterfactory...
The girls didn't want to take much photos because they say I always post ugly pictures of them :( where got! All so pretty yet say ugly, like that also say ugly, then next time we 40 years old take photos together how? Maybe by then, it not photos of us anymore... but photos of our kids taking photos together. Hmmm, talking about it, actually I kind of look forward to that day. (dar must be taking i'm obssessed with babies, babies and babies again!)

Janice had hell lot of energy that night. When I felt as if my feet were going to break anytime, she could tell me she want to continue the night further. Oh man, am I old or what? I used to be able to club with her till the DJ spins the last song. But now, when it hits a certain timing, my feet, body and mind begs me to go home. And we used to drink as if there's never enough for us, but now I'm such a hopeless drinker, I think 5 strong glasses can make me last throughout the night. Long Island used to be my all-time favourite. But now when Janice say, 'Lets order long island'. My reply to her will be, '你神经病啊!' Lol. But seriously, I rather it this way
(at least for the drinking part) :)
I headed home after the night ended at Butterfac, was too tired to continue elsewhere.
24th January 2009 (B'day Celebration with Dar³ DAY ONE)
The next day, dar³ came over to pick me and sent me back to his place cus he say his mummy cook lunch for us already. At dar³'s place, he suddenly say 'Lets go pinic today!, and he took out my pinic basket. For a moment, I thought he was for real. And I replied, 'Okay!' Then, I opened up and basket and saw this...
And I thought it was just a bed of roses with mickey and minnie lying on it.
But when I took both of them out... I saw a black box beneath the roses.
So I lifted all the roses and saw this...
But again, I thought it was some kind of prank, and just a box only, because his mum, sis and ron all uses iPhone, so I thought getting this empty box shouldn't be difficult at all. And so I opened the box. omg... dar³ really got me this...
This was least expected. I didn't expect dar to get me a iPhone, because I kept insisting that it's alright, I'll just bear with my LG KS-20. But dar³ say the phone kept having problems so he feels that it's time to get me a new one, no more low batt life, no more shutting down of phone automatically! (And oh yes, my sickening ks20 couldn't sync with my pc, and instead it erased all the contacts in my phone. I lost all my new contacts that I had for the past 6 months. Arghhhh!) THANKS LOVE!
Dar accompanied me to meet Regina to sell her clothes that I've yet to post online, cus I was too lazy. ((We couldn't believe how small the world can be. You realised it's all about fate. Sometime, somewhere, God has it all planned. Sometimes, that's life. Be true, I guess that sums up the whole hoo-ha.))
Dar³ brought Buffie and I to vivo, wanting to catch 'Bride Wars'. But the timing wasn't ideal, so we ended up catching 'The Wedding Game', which wasn't a bad choice either. Love her clothes and gowns. So pretty.
Oh yah, Dar³ brought us to 'Build-A-Bear' again. This time, we went to 'shower' for Buffie. And daddy intended to buy her a pair of shoes, cus we always complain Buffie has no shoes. But Buffie has gigantic feet, so none of the pairs looked good on her. In the end, Daddy decided to buy her a new set of clothes, cus her bathrobe was getting a little too dirty.

Then, he brought us to Haagen Daz for ice cream!

"I have pink ribbons on my ears also!"

When the clock was about to struck 12, smses started to come in... and each time dar³ hears the msg tone... he say 'OIE! HAVEN'T YET!'
(wanting to be the first).
Then he look at the time, at the very last minute, when we were already in the car... he say,
'Lets go to coffee bean now.' I say no need, but he insisted. So we got down the car again and went to the coffee bean. Dar³ got me a small warm chocolate cake with a candle.
And so I made my 23rd birthday wish with Buffie...
25th January 2009 (B'day Celebration with Dar³ DAY TWO)
Finally, this is the actual day, which happens to fall on CNYeve. We went over to my granny's place in the noon. And mummy bought me a birthday cake. I was against the idea of putting 2 big candles and 3 small ones. I wanted to only have 1 candle! But mummy say must put to remind me I'm no longer a kid :( But I want to be young forever mah!
After that, Dar³ and I went over to Jurong Point to meet his family for reunion dinner.
The initial plan was to have dinner at both sides. But the dinner over at his side took longer than expected. So by the time we finished over at his side, it was tad too late to rush over to my side. So we decided to change the program for the night. Seriously, honestly, I never ever want my birthday to ever ever ever fall on a CNYeve or CNY again! Firstly, I can't even have a romantic dinner on my birthday. Secondly, because we went places after places, but all were closed. And I got pretty upset :( I didn't want my birthday to end like this. And I know it was hard for dar to plan something on such a day when everywhere is closed. After some time, dar³ managed to find a place which was opened. GIRAFFE!
We got a pretty good seat with a lovely night view.
Dar³ had snowball, and I had baileys.
Nachos!
And later, he got the bartender to whip something up for me.
Flaming B52.
Somehow, flaming B52 and non flaming does makes a difference.
The non flaming B-52 tasted like nothing when I had it over at Supperclub.
Otherwise, it must be the difference of skills of the bartenders.

I haven't been posting photos about the past three weeks.

Ingredients for

made soup for dardar when he came back from frankfurt.
Boiled the soup overnight in the slow cooker

wrote until hand pain, blisters formed on fingers :(
After more than 7 hours...
Brought it over to dar's place and waited for him to come home...
now going over to dar's place only takes 5 minutes by cab/car...
save time save money :)
We met up with hubert and cashe that night at boat quay...
Plush added something in the pub that made both dar³ and i very excited...
the UFO machine! (especially after i showed dardardar videos of ufo catching, he became addicted)
The pair of wedding collection MICKEY and MINNIE caught our eyes...
and so we started feeding the machine with our gold coins.
After quite abit of money...
we managed to catch MINNIE out of that big box.
MINNIE hoping that MICKEY will come out too...
After plenty of tries... MICKEY still refused to come out.
But guessed what... dardardar caught piglet and the pink bunny at a go.
My eyes were totally fixed on the claws from the moment dar³ grabbed both till it dropped into the hole.
So we managed to catch 3 toys...
But still we weren't satisfied...
cus MICKEY was still in there.
I hated the feeling of MINNIE being a "unmarried bride".
So we continued trying our luck.
And cashe attempted...
he managed to catch MICKEY out for us! Yippie!

Dar brought me to b.panjang for Japanese food cus he feels that he haven't bring me for Jap food for quite sometime already. Yippie!
I can't really remember what he named this creation...

After dinner, dar³ sent me back home to get prepare for my nightout with my girls...
then he came over to pick me up after he got prepared for his own nightout...
and gave me a lift to Supperclub.

Dar sent me to school for class...
and after class he came to school to pick me up...
and brought me to Newton to meet gab and another girl friend of theirs.

After dinner... we went over to Hard Rock Cafe for Kumar's night.
We all had a good time laughing at his "crap" and jokes.
Dardardar...
We all continued the night over at dragonfly.
And Hubert came to join us later.
Gab was the 'happiest' man of the night...
cus he seemed to attract 'bees'.
Dar³ was never so sticky to me then before...
he totally cling onto me tightly that night. lol.
It was a pretty fun-filled night.

Sickening NUS
just trying to make use of us to the maximum.
What stupid project...
revamp a 54 page NUS Media Development Lab website.
Obviously trying to save money.
Instead of asking professional web designers to design a website for them...
which would easily cost at least a few k$ for a government school website...
they ask us students to do as a project.
If they purely want as to learn designing content skills for new media,
they need not throw as a ugly and poorly designed 54 page website to revamp,
but a 10 page website is enough to grasp all the skills.
What is even more ridiculous is that during the first tutorial,
our tutor already claimed that NUS solely owns the copyright of all the works we've done...
and so MDL has every right to use the websites we've done with hard work.
Oh if they really have our interests at heart...
they would have probably ask us select any websites on the web and revamp...
and probably we can make money out of that ourselves by proposing to the companies.
So sorry for the ranting...
it's the result of having sleepless nights and not being able to enjoy this festive season.
My project mates and I stayed overnight in school till 9am plus this morning...
I was so darn tired that I fell asleep in the cab and the taxi driver drove past my house...
I woke up only to realise that the taxi is already at the end of the street.
At 1pm Friday noon... I was on skype with dar...
he just arrived at the hotel in san francisco and was going to bed.
10 hours later I called him, he was already preparing to go down for breakfast buffet...
and after which he went shopping for his little princess.
Another 10 hours later he was already done with all the shopping.
I was so tired that I didn't even go over my granny's place when my relatives all went over there today.
Just another cny doing project :(

It's already 4.30am in the morning...
and we are all still awake working on this damn project.
Another sleepless night for us.
Have to go school later (on a Sunday)...
how pathetic can that be on cny.
Going to continue with the stuffs now...
