My blogger picasa web albums has reached its limit of 1024MB storage. I can't upload any more photos to this blog :( I intended to do a new blog post tonight. But my pics upload failed. What should do? In a dilemma now... switch blog host to Wordpress (which I've been procrastinating), purchase more storage, or use the tedious method by using 3rd party image host.

I'm quite reluctant to switch blog host because this current blog url has been with me for the past 5 years 5 months. And also because I've been using blogger for the past 8 years, ever since my very first blog.

But then again, I tested my wordpress account and realised that I can upload multiple at a time. This saves a lot of time and hassle to select 1 by 1!

But, but, blogger gives me a bigger space for creativity in terms of my blog appearance!

Oh man, I can't think properly now. To be sentimental or to be practical?

2010 has so far been quite a good start, though there were rough times occassionally. Times when I would be depress over certain issues. I can't exactly say what are the issues, because I don't even know whether they are really big enough to even worth worrying about. But sometimes it can get really frustrating when it keeps appearing at the corner of my mind. I just hope the remaining days of year would be better. It will be.

I spent my new year eve at shanghai dolly with gina and kylie. These girls never fail to make my nights time and again.

6th January...

After work... dar and i had dinner at the hongkong cafe at bt. timah.

Dar's just wake-up face. Must be one of those days which he was extremely reluctant to wake up to pick me up.

9th January...

Agnes and del came to bukit timah shopping centre to meet us. We headed to Ivins Ivins at Binjai Park for dinner! Peranakan food!

The blackest squid i've ever come across. But it does taste better than what it looks.

In fact, Ivins² don't really bother about their food presention. Their food comes in notably small portions, so you can try more varieties before feeling full. It's good for those who are not really big eaters.

25th January... My 24th birthday!

I spent the first few hours of my bday over at Prize Stage catching toys. And was actually having fever :( Brought home Miku-chan and L back from PS. Dar gave me my birthday pressie once we were back at home. He actually put the pressie in a Gucci paperbag, for a moment I thought he bought Gucci but then again I knew it's not his style of making the pressie so obvious. Moreover, he knows i'm not really a fan of gucci. So I knew it couldn't be. True enough, it wasn't. He bought me a Lumix GF1. I was really happy... cus a new camera was probably the one and only thing I had on my wishlist. I thought he didn't know cus I never actually list out the things I want before. But I've been lamenting for a more pro camera for the longest time. Anyway, thanks dar³.

The first few photos of Miku-chan and L taken with GF 1.. taken by mr khoo. He kept saying I suck at taking photos :( So bad. The nagging just doesn't stop on the first day. Till today, he still nags at the way I take photos. Say I always "niam" him not wearing the mont blanc ring, but he's worse lo! (But I still love him la.)

Dar brought me to Night Safari later in the evening. I was actually quite excited about it cus I don't remember going to the night safari before.

It says "Wild Birthday" on the badge.

Oh anyway, just before we headed to night safari, we wanted to check the tickets rates online. We found out that it's free entrance fee on birthdays! So dar just had to purchase the tram tickets for me :)

The sky started to turn dark. And we decided to walk the trail. I was so frightened cus I could barely see anything amidst the trees and plants. It felt like a jungle to me lo. I was holding on to dar so tightly and kept telling him I don't want to go further. I refused to enter the bats' enclosed place, and he tricked me into entering the flying squirrels one. Nearly got freaked out. But I was pretty happy sitting the tram, it's not as scary :) Some of the pics are blur cus of the moving tram and no flash is allow at all.

I enjoyed the show! After that, we wanted to have dinner, but there was no proper restaurants in night safari and the food court isn't even worth mentioning cus everything in there is overpriced! And it was already 11pm plus, which restuarant would open till so late! We wanted to go A971, but dar made a wrong turn. I was so hungry that I couldn't wait any longer, and told him I just want to eat bak ku teh. He refused initially cus he say that I will blog about him bring me to eat bak ku teh on my birthday. He made me swear that I won't. After much assurance, he turned into mohd sultan. I nearly fainted knowing that both bak ku teh stalls are not open! Then, I realised the japanese restuarants along mohd sultan are still open! The restuarant closes at 3am! Thank god otherwise I would have fainted in the car. Extremely happy! It's pretty worth it... 30++ per pax for skewers buffet.

That's all about it for my birthday :)

It's 2.47am already! Omg, i was telling agnes that I will sleep by 2am. Meeting her at 12noon tmr, I won't be able to wake up in time if I don't sleep any sooner. I'll just let the pics do the talking...

This post is gonna be heavily loaded with pics. As usual, I'm ashame to say my photos are always way beyond backdated. So this post is of no exception... it's last december photos. Joyous December!

I came back from Taiwan, and our first outing after so many days! Dar brought me to Iluma... and had our dinner at Mahhantten Fish Market.

I must say that I still prefer Fish & Co. over MFM. I think F&C's rice is so much nicer!

Did an event with Joleenbaby at Red Dot Museum!

This dear girl helped my dar to give me a super nice surprise! After work, I received a call from dar's mum asked me if I was going home, asked me where I was and have I eaten my dinner. I found it weird cus she'd usually only ask me if I was going home. But I didn't read too much into it. Then Joleen and I went to Tanjong Pagar's My Soup Spoon for dinner. While having our dinner, she received a call from a friend that ask her if she could go down to princep st. to collect something. So she turned to me ask if I can go down to Princep St. with her. I agreed without hesitation. So we headed down to Princep and waited for her friend in e-games. Suddenly, dar appeared from no where. I got a shock, cus he was only suppose to return back to sg the next day! Only then I realised the "friend" that wanted to pass something to Joleen was Dar! Both of them damn cute la. I asked Joleen, what if I say "No" to following her to princep. This dear girl replied, "I know you'll never reject me." Ha, she knows me damn well! Felt happy and touched! One of the best surprise ever! Dar bothered to give me such a surprise even after such a long flight made me :) Thank u, dar and joleen!

My dinner prepared by the boy... cus we were too lazy to get out of the house even though I was hungry. So the boy say he will cook for me.

I was quite delighted when I saw my tray of food served to the room. I asked, "How come got seaweed one?" He replied, "Oh I went down to buy." I was quite happy thinking that the boy made such an effort. A few days later, I opened up a packet of instant noodles, wanting to cook for myself. Then, I realised it came with a packet of seaweed! WTH... I got cheated. The boy bluffed me~! I went to him and say.. "The seaweed not you buy one lo!" He laughed and ran away. Hmpf. Nonetheless, was still happy la.

The next day dar bought me a new toy- Gyoza maker, as an apology to what happened the night before. It really made my day :)

24th December was Christmas eve as well as our 18th mensiversary! Dar ordered xmas food frm Canele. Together with everyone else in the house, we had a xmas feast.

Seiously, the iron-ons are not cheap... $3 for the smaller ones and $5 for the bigger ones. If I can find cheaper iron-ons, I really don't mind making a few more caps for dar. Any one knows where to get cheaper and nice iron-ons? I got all the iron-ons from a shop in FEP. I know Spotlight's iron-ons ain't cheap too :( But still, I think the cap is worth it cus dar wears it very frequently! *HUGS*

Vday is approaching, I've bought part of the boy's pressie :) Really like it! Hope I can find something nice to match with it! Sadly, on vday dar will only be back in sg in the night :( But anyhow, we'll still find some ways to celebrate it! Right baby?

I dont know if anyone share the same sentiments as me or experience the same situations as i do... I really HATE being THREATENED, be it direct or indirect!

I may not be good at my words, I may not be able to defend myself as well as you do, I may not be able to organise my thoughts as well too, but it doesn't mean I don't have my stand. It just that I don't know how to put it in words as well as you do.

I always end up apologising even when I'm also torn and hurt because I don't know how to better salvage the situation.

I read this from somewhere and it exactly describes my inner thoughts... "Apologising doesn't mean that you are wrong and the other is right. It only means that you value the relationship much more than your ego."

So who else understands and share the same perspectives?

Taiwan + HAPPY BDAE to me!

Today, just when I thought I can finally see the long awaited taiwan photos taken using Justin's DSLR, I inserted the disc into my lappie and realised it's a blank CD =( I think it will take quite sometime before I receive another CD with photos in it. So I decided that I should just upload whatever I have in my own camera first. Unfortunately, I didn't take much photos with my camera cus Justin was always around taking for the 3 girls (my sis, his sis- jasmine, and me). Meanwhile, sorry for the boring and low quality pics. (Update: I manage to find some pics from justin's fb!)

It was dad's company trip. A retreat for his staff. My whole family tagged along :)

DAY 1

On board the aircraft. Brought my melody along with me...

Upon arrival in taiwan, the first place we visited was the national palace museum which seems pretty boring to me.

There wasn't much activity on Day 1 cus most of the time was spent travelling from places to places. And I still can't understand why the tour guide brought us from airport (in taoyuan) to taipei and back to taoyuan on the first day and back to taipei the next day. Such a waste of time.

DAY 2

Rise and shine! Took the coach to the 桃园 speed train station.

Took the speed train to taipei.

Arrived in Taipei! Went to 中正纪念堂 (Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall).

Damn! Why am I always the lowest! Grgghhhh.

Dinner time! Our very first group dinner.
We had milk steamboat with other plenty of dishes. The soup was heavenly!

Followed by our first group activity which was very enjoyable. Each pair will get a bottle filled with milk-like substance. We have to shake the bottle till the liquid change into solid state, which will be known as butter! Interesting huh. First 3 to pairs to transform liquid to solid state wins. It was damn tiring! It takes about 10-20 minutes to transform, and requires a lot of hand strength to shake the bottle continuously.

After that, we had our own activity, which justin, jasmin, my sis and I had planned. Bought load of fireworks from Jiufen. And we were going to light up all that night. Some of u might have already saw the videos I have posted 2 months ago. It totally made our day even though we were later stopped by the security. lol.

DAY 3

Took the yacht to a very small island.

Went up to the temple where there's 12 zodiac animals chairs outside.

Went to another monastery which was extremely huge.

After that, we decided that we should light the remaining fireworks around the vicinity of the monastery cus we wouldn't be able to play it anymore when we return back to taipei.

DAY 4

Good morning!

I seriously can't remember where is this place...

Headed to beidou for hot spring! But sad to say, I didn't quite like it. It's totally different from the ones I've been to in Japan and Korea. Though the ones is japan and korea is more of a "open" hot spring (female and male separated), but it feels much cleaner and authentic. The one we went at beidou has individual cubicles, but must have at least 2 person in a room just in case anything happen to 1 person. And can be of any gender combi. It seems sleazy to me, a place where adulterous couple would frequent. lol. So I decided that I shall not soak myself in there. Jasmine, my sis and I stuck together in one cubicle just soaking our feet.

On our last few nights, we stayed in Presidential suite. Very shiok! Can't remember which hotel we stayed.

Mummy and I extended our trip by 2 days. The rest went back to SG first. Thank goodness I had everyone to help me carry my barang barangs back!

Remember I introduced a swing concept restaurant in my previous tw trip? I think it's called Go Fish. This time, I tried to another swing concept restaurant. YOUNG.

Although this restaurant looks cleaner and a little bit more atas. But the feel is not as unique the previous one.

Needless to say, the presentation of food also looks much better! They serve more westernized dishes here.

But it doesn't taste as nice as the "Go Fish" restaurant too.

That roughly sums up my most recent trip to Taiwan!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

For the past four days, I didn't work cus dar is on leave for my birthday! And very very very unfortunately, I fell sick and had fever for 4 days! !@#$%^& !!! For the whole 2 months, I never once fell sick. And yet I have to fall sick just when I stopped working and on my birthday!! ARGGHHH. I practically survived on extra panadol for 4 days, and lie on the bed most of the time.

But Thank God, he did compensate me in some other ways... 1) I won a NDS lite from Prize stage lucky draw on 24th 11.30pm (That's cus we invested loads of $$$$ playing UFO machines). 2)I had the most awesome birthday present ever in my life from dardar... white GF1 Lumix... yay! say goodbye to pixelated and dark pics! 3)For the first time in my life, I won Toto on my birthday (although the amt is very small)!

The small 牛book is damn accurate. I am so gonna trust it!

White GF1 is love!

With the help of Ron, dar managed to get me GF1 in white, which is not available in SG. Although it's slightly more expensive as compared to SG, he still got it for me! Thank you dardar! *MUACKS* Really really appreciate it! Thank you, Ron, too!

Now what I really need is a 14-45mm zoom lens!

P.s. Anyone interested in getting a NDS lite? BRAND NEW. Cus I already have 1 which I hardly ever used! And dardar doesn't need 1 too cus he can play with mine, moreover his mummy and his sis already have it. We have 3 NDS lite hanging around in the house. November love. November was filled with love and fun. It was dad's and mum's birthday. And I had a very sweet 17th month surprise from dardardar. A dinner treat from me at somewhere nice for our 17th. Lastly, a different experience in Taiwan!

Daddy's birthday...

Celebrated his birthday on the 15th instead of his actual date 16th. We went to Dempsey's Ben and Jerry for dinner. My birthday pressie for dad was a uMomo from osim and Dar gave a very bling Fossil watch, which he obviously treasures more than my pressie. Hmpfff! Mummy kept saying that I shouldn't have buy the back massager cus they already have one. But I didn't know!

Anyway, dinner was pretty good. Just some of the food we had...

Dar came back from erm... somewhere (ops I forgotten). And got me this pair of bunny slippers, and insist that I should wear it around in the house.

Dar scolded me for having too many things lying around and I turned to Stitch and scolded him for misplacing his stuff. He quickly wore his clothes...

A winter season minnie mouse caught by dardar. I was waiting in the car for him to collect my melody for me. Then he came back with Melody in his hands. Then, it took my awhile to realise that Minnie mouse was tucked in his jacket! I excited grabbed minnie mouse out from his jacket. And he said, "Who say for you!" Of course I know!

Bought L4D2 back. I keep getting nauseous every single time we play L4d2. Why it isn't that bad when I was playing L4D1? Haiz. Anyway... recruiting new L4D2 kakis!... drop me a sms or email k!!! We don't bite (i think).

KITTYLAB...

On 21st nov, I went to the airport to wait for dardar. We had breakfast there. And I made a small request... " Can we walk around the airport and see aeroplanes?" Just as expected, he would say no. But this time, it was accompanied by another reason instead of "See aeroplanes until sick!" He said that he got something else planned, and if we go home and come out fast enough, he is able to go ahead with his plan. I don't know why but I exclaimed "IS IT KITTYLAB!!??" He laughed and said, "I don't know." But my instincts told me, "YES!" The weird thing was I've never mention to dar about Kittylab, and yet my instincts were so strong and accurate.

As promised in an earlier post, I am back with more photos of Kittylab!

Here we are in Kitty world... where we have accomplish a series of mission. We practically rushed like mad, aiming to complete all the missions by 35 mins to get the KittyLab citizen badge. And, after that 35 mins, we won't be able to go back in there to take photos. So Dar and I rushed like hell just to take a couple of photos for me... that explains why there are only photos of me cus dar didn't want to waste anytime. Every second was precious, so much so that we didn't even had a chance to have a photo of us together in the vacinity. The above photo you saw was a paid photo that we took at the entrance. It cost $12.84.

On 23rd, I told dar dinner was be on me! We couldn't decide where to have dinner but we decided to try orchard central. Both of us look at the directory, and I said how about Heaven Loft's: Ben and Jerry's. And he claimed, he was looking at the same words on the directory. So we both unanimously agreed to have dinner at B&J. To our surprise, the restaurant has a pleasant ambience and a great view overlooking Orchard Emerald hill on the 8th floor. We both like it! Quiet and romantic :)

Happy 2010

Happy 2010 my dear friends! I think writing a detailed reflection of the past one year is quite a passé thing in my blog already. Moreover I supposed those who are interested in knowing what have been going on my life have already read my ongoing posts. So I'll try to do a short summary.

In a nutshell, 2009 has been one of the best time of my life although there were hicups now and then.

Foremost, I've been one blessed and happy girl because I know I've got "you" by my side. Though we have fights more often than before and sad to say we've past the honeymoon stage, but I know we now have a deeper understanding of one another. And I'm very glad that we still often do things that couples do only during honeymoon period. Thanks for being the best dardardar I can ever ever have! Certainly looking forward to creating more memorable moments with you in 2010!

Secondly, I graduated from NUS half a year ago. But I'm ashame to say I haven't gotten a decent job, not because I can't get pass any interviews but the fact that I've not even tried a single one. I'm relunctant to work a 9-5 job because my heart is somewhere else which is totally non related to my diploma in biz n degree in mass com. I'm still exploring what options I have apart from a 9-5 job. I wish I have a million dollar to play with!

Thirdly, I've realised good n trusty friends are really hard to come by. A very big hug to those who have stood by me at all times and love me unconditionally. Thank you Agnes bestie and my 3 dearest girlies Janice, Kylie, and Gina! I know I've not been spending much time with girlies, I'm truly sorry but just wanna let you know you're definitely not forgotten!

There are also a few things I'm eagerly anticipating in 2010...

1. Can't wait to move to holland and meet up with agnes to holland-ing just like the good ole days!
2. Very very much looking forward to taking LGS a step further!
3. 2nd anniversary with dar .

Lastly, I want to stop crying for people who ain't worth my tears because dar told me I only need to keep those who are true close to my heart. And I should spend more time with my loved ones instead of dwelling on it.

18th Mensiversary and Xmas 09

On 24th, we celebrated our 18th mensiversary, as well as xmas.
In a blink, we've been together for 1 and a half years.
I won't say everything have been smooth sailing for the both of us.
Like any other normal couples, we have had our fair share of arguments and fights.
Some big and some small, but I'm glad we've overcome them all to bring us thus far.
Each time we get into a fight... I would hate him for having a incorrigible temper...
but I realised that's all I could hate about him.
Because deep down, there are 32843278478 things I love about him.
I know I am blessed to have dearest dar³ by my side through all the ups and downs.

And MERRY CHRISTMAS LOVE!

Dar suggested going to the church on xmas eve few days back. He wanted to go to city harvest to catch their xmas drama. Initially, I was quite skeptical about going to CHC again cus of my previous experience there. But still, I agreed cus dar havent been to CHC and it's the first time he has suggested going to church after being with him for 1 1/2 years. Moreover, I'm also guilty of denying God for the past 5 years. I remembered the first time dar asked what was my religion, and I answered "I don't know". Because I really do not know what do I believe in now. I got scolded by him because I was wavering between 2 beliefs. So I said, "Freethinker lo.". But I also got scolded. Hmpf. I've been raised in 2 different environments all my life. My mum is a devoted buddhist. But ever since I was 4, I attended Christian schools more than half of my life, from nursery up till secondary. I attended devotions every single morning, weekly chapels, I even joined Christian fellowship as my ECA when I was in primary school, in secondary school i spent every saturday attending GB service, attended countless Christian camps, I wore a cross almost everyday and I even had cellgroup meetings in the wee hours before school assembly. How was it possible that I wasn't being influenced through my life? I said my first sinner's prayer when I was in primary 3. But I was afraid to tell my mum. I don't even remember admitting to her that I was in Christian fellowship, and not to even mention that I accepted Christ. I was sure that I would be brainwash by her at that time. And so I chose to keep mum about my belief. But every time I had to fill in a form which requires me to state my religion, I would always put "Christian". And I have always been very proud of my very very pretty precious moment Bible. However, 5 years ago, I started to hold myself back. Partly because there was no more daily devotions and weekly service, and also because of people who made me lose faith. If you were to ask me now, I would still say "I don't know." Whenever I'm down, I would go to my mum's buddha atar to pray, then I go back to my room and whisper a prayer to God. Whenever I have exams, I pray at the atar before I leave the house, and in the exam hall I never fail to whisper a prayer to God before every single exam paper I've taken in my life. When I feel weird spirits pressing against me in my sleep, I shout "In Jesus name go away!", when I wake up in sweat, I mumble a-mi-tor-fou a-mi-tor-fou. I know it sounds funny and it doesn't seem right. That's why dar scolded me and is against my way of wavering in between both. But what am I to do when I don't know which I'm closer to. So I've decided 遂意. I'll decide when the time comes bah. But I would say that attending that drama and short service that day did made me ponder again and I had a strong sense of guilt, especially so when I did not raise my hands when the pastor called for sinners and backsliders to raise. After the service, dar asked me what's backslider... and I told am I am an perfect example of one. lol. A backslider is a person who once had salvation, but has since turned away from the Lord Jesus to the point that he is now spiritually lost and dead again, just like he was before becoming saved. Dar asked, "Then why you never raise?" I think my answer was, "I don't know." Seriously hopeless and clueless. But I don't mind attending service with dar³ again :)

Rilakkuma comes home with us!

Saturday night, dar and i met up with joleen and desmond at PS. Was going to head to prinsep st. for ld42 again. But dar was stopped by the hugeass rilakkuma at prize stage. He pointed at it and ask me whether I like it or not. "YES!" Finally there was something else apart from Stitch and Yoshi for the human size collection! 6 big prizes in exchange for the gigantic rilakumma at the biggest UFO catcher machine. We knew it for sure that by hook or by crook it will be back home with us! So we started playing, and counted down to 6 each time we caught one big prize. For first time, we played till face hot and red. Full of excitement but extremely stressful. With much support from onlookers, who felt the pinch each time we insert 2 gold coins into the machine, we managed to bring it back home with us! It is the biggest pressie ever from dardardar! Our biggest acquisition by far!

Rilakkuma is now sitting in dar's car passenger seat. We don't know where to put him if we bring up to the house.

We were discussing in the car about where to leave Rilakumma, in car or at home.

Dar: "No space on the bed liao."
Me: "Of course put on the floor la, put on the bed how we sleep!"
Me: "Otherwise you hug him sleep in the living room."
Dar: "You go and sleep with Shirley la!"
Me: "Why me! You go and sleep with Shirley la! Rilakkuma sleep with me."
Dar: "I don't want!"

Halloween 2009

I think my photos are far beyond backdated. I haven't had the time to blog a proper post for the past few weeks. I haven't even upload nov pics to the com. I've been labelled as the slow uploader by my dear friends. boohooo ="( But I know I'm really slow beyond hope. I'm feeling embarassed to have this post up after sooooo long. The night before Halloween... joleen, desmond, leonard, dar and i had already pre-arranged for outing to night safari. On our way to night safari, it started dizzling. Dar and I was afraid that the rain would get heavier. When we reached night safari, joleen called to ask if we didn't mind the rain and would get the tickets. The rain wasn't that bad at that moment and so we agreed. Merely after we hang up the phone, the rain got heavier and started raining cats and dogs after a minute. It was impossible for dar and I to get out of the car at the open air carpark. We decided to call Joleen immediately for a change of plan. But Joleen had bought the tickets by then, luckily managed to get the tickets refunded cus even the ticket officer understood the situation.

I suggested going to Spooktacular instead. So I called Agnes to ask if Sentosa was raining cus she was there. She mentioned that it wasn't raining but seems like it was going to. But still we decided to try out luck there. We went to vivocity while waiting for leonard. Had our dinner there.

We were very amazed and frightened by this first "ghost" we saw while taking the escalator.

We queued and wanted to buy tickets but were told that we will be the first to be thown with "SOLD OUT" cus the sickening security officer say he counted that the tickets quota will be up till the 2 girls in front of us. Damn sad. So we could only take pics with those ghosts outside the haunted house for that night. We bought spooktacular tickets for the next day (Halloween night) instead cus we reckon that if we don't buy that night we have to queue the next day again.

Went to wavehouse after that, and we got stuck there cus it started pouring heavily again :( But managed to get a buggy later to send us back to the carpark :)

30th October 2009 - Halloween night

Since we bought Spooktaculat tickets for the night already, we decided to meet up at Sentosa. As usual, desmond n joleen reached before us. This time, they were told that it would take at least 3 hours before our turn to get into the haunted house. !@#$%^&* That was soooooo WTF. It would mean that we will only be able to get in at 1am! We had a big prob cus we had already pre-arrange a surprise birthday party our dearest Joleen over at Loof and Supperclub. Some of our friends were already waiting there. So we had no choice but to head to Loof directly.

The birthday girl arrived at Loof and was shocked to see everyone there.

After the cake cutting, dar and I wanted to head back to Sentosa to enter Spooktacular since tickets were already bought. Unfortunately, we called and were told that it was closed already! They told us to return back at 1.30am, but it was closed by the time we called. :( So the 7 tickets went to the waste...

We continued the night over at Supperclub.

((My heart gave in to those kisses, those words, the hair drying process, the dinner treat, the gyoza machine, the marigold jellies... how easily it is to make me forgive and smile. hmpf. I wanted to not talk to you for as long as I could! But that lasted for only a few hours. ))

Was pretty happy with the response today :) oh ya, did I mention that Le' glass slippers is having a PUSHCART booth at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre Lvl 2 for the whole of December!

Having Clearance sales, many items going at below $20 and even $15. Not forgetting those sweeties who have been supporting LGS every single collection (and some even every piece), fred not that you've nothing to buy. NEW ARRIVALS, new items that have yet to be launched online, are also up at the pushcart. 30 over designs will be launched at the pushcart over this month!

In summary of today...

I took the bus and train to changi airport to meet dar early in the morning.
I made a special request to walk around in the airport instead of heading home straight. But was rejected because dar had a surprise plan in mind.
My first guess for the surprise was right! KITTYLAB! *Dar smiled back :)*
So I totally dropped the idea of romancing in the airport.
We headed back home. Dar unpacked, showered and changed up.
Off we went to EXPO!
Worked with Cecilia in the night. I always heart girls' talk with this babe. Great minds think alike!
Work ended at 12am. Indeed, a very long and tired but fulfilling day!

Thank you baby for the lovely surprise! You know what I like best!

Still I was pretty surprised despite the fact that I managed to guess it, because I didn't even once mentioned to dar about KittyLab even though I wanted to go. Secretly, I did wish he would surprise me with it. That's probably why KITTYLAB was my guess.

Anyway, this is my short review for KITTYLAB for those who are considering to go. I would say I believe Sanrio can do so much better than this. I expected something better? My advice is... go only if you are really really really an avid fan of Hello Kitty. Otherwise, you might be a little disappointed. The ticket price ($37.45 per person) is quite pricey for the amount of time spent in there. You practically rushed like crazy if you are aiming to complete all the missions by 35 mins to get the KittyLab citizen badge, which I believe most would want. And, after that 35 mins, you don't get to go back in there to take photos. So Dar and I practically rushed like hell just to take a couple of photos for me. I couldn't have more than 2 seconds to adjust my hair, clothes and 'design' a pose. It was like 'SNAP!', next, 'SNAP!', next.... I couldn't even take a breather for a second. Every second was precious, so much so that we didn't even had a chance to have a photo of us together in the vacinity. The above photo you just saw was a PAID photo that we took at the entrance. It cost $12.84. Even if you decide to forgo that mission citizen badge, you can only stay in there for 45 mins to entitle for the KITTYLAB card. It totally defeats the purpose of going to KITTYLAB if you don't even get the KITTYLAB card. So get what I mean? Be prepared to spent over 100 plus if you're going! Tickets fee + Photo + Souvenir added up to about $130 for us. Dar bought me Dr. Kitty plushie which vibrates. Loves~

24th October 2009

24th was our 16 month of togetherness. but as months go by... the date no longer seem as important as it was during the first year of our relationship. 哎呀，是这样的啦！during the first few months, i receive surprises almost as frequent as I brush my teeth. *dingdong* i see the red car outside my house with a small bouquet of roses. or i opened my eyes with a plate of heart-shaped pancakes right in front of me. 现在那里有这样了！我被骗了！Just that day while watching the news about Japan's blue roses, I told dar "I want!", then dar say "You everything also want la!'. Dar's mum commented, “哎呀，男人都是这样的！还没追到手，什么都okok。追到手了，什么都不ok。” LOL.

Hmmm, the boy tried to make up by twisting some balloons for me. His very first attempt was a 3 petal flower.

Then I complained why 3 petals only... so he modified it into a six petal flower...

Later, he attempted a rabbit! xoxo.

I got a pair of minnie and mickey cup from HongKong Disney Store.
One for him and one for me. Cute right!

We went to ECP again after L4D! This time we caught quite a bit of stuffs.

First time saw Keroppi at the Jackpot machine, and I knew for sure I want dar to have that. It's his favourite cartoon character! See I so 伟大... chose keroppi bolster over hello kitties!

Went back home, and dar continued twisting some more balloons for me... 2 little poodles...

Dar just had his hair cut at Kimage and he was damn satisfied about it, so much so that he applied for Kimage member card.

28th November 2009

Dar left for flight and it was outing with bestie again! We went to vivocity, and had our lunch at Kim Gary.

I love my shoulder-pad effect tee so much! Really really nice! I hardly wear tees unless I really really like the design. Because of that tee, I called Agnes and told her that I want to wear jeans so I can match the tee. And she said she want to wear jeans too! It was the first time of the year that I wore jeans! Amazing right! The last time I wore jeans was during my trip to Japan last year. I swear! I am seriously not a jeans person. Most of time I wear my favourite black cotton on shorts. I heart that shorts so much that I have 6 pairs of that exact shorts. 3 black, 2 white and 1 grey. I could survive just with those awesome black shorts. They practically can match anything in my wardrobe. And because me wearing jeans is such a "phenomenon", I jokingly told Agnes' cousin who saw me the first time that day that she should buy lottery. She replied saying that she should eat mac instead and maybe she'll get sentosa cove.

And we really went to mac...

Again, we didn't really buy much stuffs. Now, we rarely buy clothes from outside unless we really like them. And clothes are much reasonably priced on blogosphere. Otherwise, we buy clothes from states dot.com sites. The most expensive thing I bought that day was a Kimono outfit for Buffie. PrettyprettyBuffie!

The preview for the upcoming collection is finally up! I've been procrastinating darn long for this post. Have been deciding to do some changes to LGS, which explains the delay. After much consideration, I've made some decisions and am pretty excited about it. But it will definitely take a little more time before you see what's new in LGS! I'm looking forward to it!

I've decided that I must blog about my HK trip by tonight. "Memory card full" keeps appearing... and I couldn't take anymore pics. I can't delete any photos because none of the it were uploaded yet. Was working with cecilia, joleen, fyonne and some other 4 girls last night. Fyonne was complaining that I take super long to upload joleen's birthday pics. *oppsie* But I haven't even upload my overdue hk pics!

End last month, mummy, aunt and I went to hongkong for a 8 days trip. Managed to meet up with dar for 2 full days in hongkong cus he managed to swap his flight :)The thing that left me the deepest impression was Kowloon Hotel's super duper comfy bed. I came home telling dar that i want a bed as soft as that! We went to courts that day... and the mattress that caught my attention cost a whopping $4799! It looks super tempting. I think dar nearly fainted on the spot. I told him lets save up for that bed for the new house. He asked me how much am i going to sponsor... and i jokingly replied $500... he said it's okay $500 is enough to buy the top portion of latex. lol. Ops i think i drifted away to much. But again, do check out Dunlopillo Tuberose mattress!! Then perhaps you might think that the bed you have been sleeping on is not considered a bed.

Anyway, back to main topic. The first thing that dar and i did after our nap was to go for Dim Sum!He brought me to this tall tower that oversees the seaview, and claimed that he ever had dim sum there before. But he couldn't find the restaurant even after going to each level.

In the end, we decided to just settle for the only chinese restaurant there. The dim sum was surprisingly good :)

Next day isn't even worth mentioning at all. Of all time, my period had to come. And it totally spoilt the entire trip. I couldn't stop crying for almost half a day due to some horrible homones. Dar and I met up with my mum and aunt for breakfast at the infamous 糖朝. Did some shopping in the late noon with dar at fa yuen kai and mongkok.

After a long day, dar and i decided to settle at a japanese restaurant for dinner/supper. I brought him to this japanese restaurant which i had a good impression of quality food during one of my trips to hk. However, sad to say, the standard has dropped drastically. Either that, or the branch in tsim sha tsui is of a better standard and looks much more atas.

Today was outing with Agnes BFF again!

But was kinda "SHINGZ" (in ris low term). We sat through a couple of sales talk.

We met up at 1pm at buona vista station and headed to raffles place for workout at california fitness. Attended the BodyCombat class. I seriously think I have hand and leg coordination problem. My skinny bff wants to tone up, while I want to lose weight! But I think the class is of no use to such a gu-niang like me. I'm as soft as a jellyfish, and I think the instructor must be thinking wth. He tried to imitate me in the gu-niang kickboxing version. lol. After the class, we had to go through an orientation talk which was supposedly a sales talk. But we managed to escaped it cus we needed to rush to our pedicure appointment. We were super hungry and there wasn't any time for us to have a proper meal.

We left california fitness at 4.45pm and went to Wax in the City for pedicure appointment at 5pm. Apparently, this place actually invited Agnes for a trial pedicure at $6. And Agnes requested to bring me along. I have to admit that we were both very impressed by the girls who did for us our pedicure. They were very friendly and professional. What impressed me most initially was that all that equipment were sterilised for every customer. It was a bit of an atas treatment parlour. But the one weird thing and probably also the bad thing about this place is that they do not attend to walk-in customers. That means you have to be a member of Wax in the City. Frankly, Agnes and I were both very keen in joining the membership before a sales talk. We thought it was a one-time membership kind of fee. However, it wasn't as simple as we thought! There was this sales guy who attended to us right after our pedicure session. His name is ZEN ZHANG (remember this name), he was such a !@#$% bastard. He was all nice and good to us in the beginning. He explained to us how the membership works and how much we have to pay. And this is how Wax in the City works... you have to commit either to a 2 years, 3 years or 4 years membership. For the 2 years memership, you have pay $88.90 every month for 24 months. And for the 3/4 years membership, you have to pay even more, $130 plus and $179 for 24 months respectively. All these amount you pay every month becomes a credit your membership account. But the more years you sign, the more "free" extra credit they will give you. It sounds enticing, but despite so, this isn't a small amount at all. Both Agnes and I needed time to think it over before signing up as members. So we rejected the offer politely and said that we needed some time to consider. The salesman immediately showed us attitude. I explained to him patiently that we both currently do have other commitments (california fitness, facial packages, etc.) so we really need to think it through. Then he started saying that our commitments are there, he can't change our commitments (like as if it's his business kind of attitude). Moreover, the monthly fee must be paid using credit card. I tried to excused myself by telling him if I really want to sign up, I need to ask my partner for permission. He asked me to make a call on the spot. That's like WTFFFF. Ben is on flight!! And what rubbish was that. He became even more sacastic when I said it was not possible. He said stuffs like "You mean your boyfriend control your finance?", "Shouldn't girls be controlling their boyfriend's finance?". He sounded more and more ridiculous implying that I'm like such a loser. I mean how each of us control our finance is a very personal and individual issue. Still, I was able to maintain my composure. Lucky for him that I have very high tolerance for such people. If it was dar³, I think he can just GO AND DIE! We were both very adamant about not signing up on spot. Then he began to say stuffs like, "Then why did come?", "I think this place is not suited for you." He talked about what exclusivity, online booking for appointments, sms reminder, blah~. Common' that system is a total bullshit. How exclusive is exclusive???? If everyone can join as a member, if they have 3000 members, if you still have a stranger sitting just 3cm beside you while you're having your treatment, if you often can't get your appointment slots, is that consider as exclusive? Read the following reviews, and you'll get what I mean.

I was curious about whether there were others who had bad experience with them. So I googled 'Wax in the City'. I found a long thread about WitC. Everyone shared their bad experiences with WitC. These 3 reviews are just one of the millions that encountered terrible instances.

As a word of advice... DON'T EVER EVER EVER STEP INTO WAX IN THE CITY. You'll definitely walk out feeling angrish and regretful. Unless you are prepared to be deceived by their rubbish membership, otherwise DON'T.

My mum ever signed up for a spa package. She did not even complete 1/4 of her package and the spa parlour closed down. Dang~dang~dang... there goes her money! Agnes and I left raffles place and went to Bugis. Once we got out of BHG, we were stopped 2 guys. I didn't bother and kept walking my way through until Agnes followed one of the guys. I was like OMG. So we sat down for like 30-45 minutes listening to their Prudential savings plans talk. Luckily, the guys were quite nice. They were more understanding and gracious in accepting rejection. Thanks to Delwyn's mum phone call, we both managed to escape from that situation.

Actually I had a bit of self-reflection after a day like this. Money really does make the world goes round. Money is never enough. Even self-indulgence like gym membership, nail treatment membership, spa and facial membership no longer just seem like pure indulgence. They all come with a hefty price and a load of burden. I remembered last week "國王與我" episode starring 曾志伟 (Eric Tsang) on Channel's 8 向世界出发 . He said this, “其实我们所赚的钱，所买的衣服等，就算是买一辆车，都是你的包袱。”It made a lot of sense when he shared his personal experiences. The episode was an inspiring and touching one to me. You can watch it when you have the time. I found the video in cantonese version with chinese subtitles...

It's 4.34am now. Oh man, I have to wake up at 5.30am to start preparing and leave the house at 6.20am with dar's dad to pick dar³ up at the airport. Dar's mum was smart to choose sleep over picking dar up with us. Better take a 1 hr nap now. Goodnight!

Dar³'s 27th Birthday

Prior to his birthday, I created a private event on facebook with the help of my sis and invited his friends to his surprise birthday party. I was pretty glad that most of them could make it.

On 7 October, dar had to do a turnaround. So I made use of the limited time I had to run some errands. Went to Raffles Town Club to make payment for the spa suite. Arranged for the birthday cake from Ben and Jerry's. After that, I went to sheng shiong to get all the food, snacks, utensils, and drinks which filled 2 trolleys to the brim. I was trying to do everything I could before he returns back home. Unfortunately, time didn't permit, he was back home before me. He called me and ask where was I and what time I will be back home. I had to lie to him that I went to the post office to mail out parcels and was on my way back to my own home. I will go to his place after that. My mum who was driving me around was giggling after I put down the phone. I went home, helped unload all the stuffs in the car, packed all the bottles of alcohol in to my cabin luggage, told my maid and my sis what to do with the food and packed some stuffs that was to be brought to the suite. After done with those, I head to BBP to get a small cake for dar. I head to polo cake shop, wanting to buy the small cartoon-licensed cake. From afar, I thought I saw Keroppi and was very happy. But upon closer look, I realised it was actually Hello Kitty in a froggy colour like suit. Nonetheless, I still bought the cute cake for the boy.

Dar and I walked to a coffee shop somewhere in panjang for dinner/supper. By the time we returned back home, it was time to cut the little cake. I crept to the fridge, took the cake out, lit the candle and went back into the room. Sang the first 27th birthday song for the boy.

Told the boy that we won't be going out for the night. We will rest early because I've got programs lined-up the next day.

We woke up at 10am. While he was taking his shower, I quickly pack some clothes and some necessities into my mulberry hand carry luggage. He attempted to peep into the bag a few times, and was thinking of all ways to have sole possession of the bag. I even had to bring the luggage into the shower with me. We left the house at about 11am plus, head to agnes' place to pass her some stuffs and to collect some clothes as well, before we made our way to Raffles Town Club. Dar thought that we were going there just to have lunch, until we check-in to the spa suite.

I booked a spa suite for a night. The spa suite has a big jacuzzi, a sauna room, a steam room and a small lounge.

We left the suite for lunch. Settled for lunch at The Cafe and Terrace.

After lunch, we went to the arcade for a while. And i caught a small stitch with $1. We went back to suite, and started utilising the facilities happily. Dar was saying that he hope at the end of the stay, he'll be thinner. lol. We took a nap after that before heading out for dinner. I had to make sure that we leave the suite before 6pm. Because that's when my sis, mum, cashe and tiffy would help bring all the stuffs into the room. Earlier, I already made arrangement with the reception to hand additional card keys to my sis to have access to the suite.

We left RTC and headed to Mohammad Sultan. As recommended by dar's sis, Serene, I made a booking at The Sage fine dinning restaurant.

I really didn't fancy this and only had a small mouth of mine. But dar finished his. And it was partly due to a phone call that totally ruined my appetite. I was shivering throughout the whole dinner and my heartbeat was actually racing like mad. I was so afraid that the cat would be let out of the bag. Despite so, I had to remain calm and pretend that nothing had gone wrong.

I read a lot of reviews raving about the egg that comes with the mushroom cuppucino. But honestly, it wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be.

Ribeye steak

Dar wanted to try the Ribeye steak. And it was a two-person portion at $95++. So I went along with his choice. The steak was like a yes and no to our liking. It was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. But dar felt that it wasn't flavoury enough.

Time for cake again! I asked them beforehand to prepare something for the birthday boy for dessert.

The boy made me sing birthday song again... and kept asking me to sing louder so everyone could hear. So embarassing.

It took quite some time for the kitchen to prepare the cake. And I was anxiously wanting to leave the restaurant cus we were behind the scheduled time for surprise. I lied to the boy that I've already arrange for some rejuvenating session in the room, so some masseuse will be coming into our suite. We need to return back to the suite asap otherwise the last timing for the session will be over. The sickening boy keep telling me to relax, it's okay. Like wth. When we finally left the restaurant, he insist on going to 7-11 to get bottles of mineral water. I was like "ARGGGHHHH. Can buy later?". He replied saying "Nono, if don't buy now later can't buy already." I had no choice but to allow him to buy. He went in and bought something extra, and told me happily that he bought something cute. I was like "what?", he showed me a "interesting" can of drink. I didn't know how to react, cus I knew for sure he couldn't drink it later. lol.

Upon reaching back to RTC, I smsed a few people telling them we are already at the carpark. I was feeling extremely excited the moment we were at the doorstep of the suite. Finally he opened the door, and everyone was standing right there.

Dar told me he was stunned for a moment and wanted to switch on the lights. But he suddenly thought, "People giving me surprise, if I turn on the lights very spoil mood." lol.

After the cake cutting and champagne, everyone wanted him to blow the 27 candles surrounding the jacuzzi. But he knew it would mean sabortage and he would be pushed into the water. So he refused.

One moment, he was sitting at the display corner, trying to look cool. The next moment, he felt heat coming from behind and smelt something burning. Only then did he realise that his shirt was already on fire.

He jumped into the jucuzzi immediately, wanting to extinguish the fire. His sillyness made everyone rofl.

Twister time! Took out the twister and form into 2 teams, competing which team would be the last one standing. Cashe was the joker of the game. He couldn't even differentiate his LEFT and RIGHT after drinking. His team nearly wanted to kill him.

We left RTC and headed to e-games for L4D till 6am. Dar and I went back to the suite. I arranged to have breakfast in room.

After breakfast, we were quite adamant about not sleeping till we get home in the noon. So we used the jacuzzi and steam room. But after shower, we gave in to our temptation and fell asleep for a few hours before we check-out.

That's all about it. His surprise birthday was a success thanks to the many people who attended and cooperated. And most importantly, it really wouldn't have been possible without my sis' help. THANK YOU, EVERYONE!

Last but not least, I hope dar³ enjoyed himself and had the most memorable birthday ever. He said that he thought this would only always happen on TV shows :)

omg... i was telling agnes i still have 515648546864577813574 photos not uploaded. ok, that was an exaggerated amount. but the photos are really piling up everyday. i haven't even do up the post on dar³'s birthday... and he said that I don't love him. like wth. i am going to upload it real soon, cus the camera's memory card is FULL! i want a new cam i want a NEW CAMMMM!!!!!!!!!! *SCREAM!*

ok.. i'm going to upload the photos into the com. but i think it takes ages to load to blogger. blogger should really do something about their "add image". it's such a hassle to browse the files one by one, and can only upload 5 photos at a time. gets on my nerves at times... but i'm pretty adamant about not switching blog host.

i'm really sorry for the lack of updates on LGS. i will try as fast as possible to have the next collection up. i'm currently busy working on ways to improve LGS, that explains the delay in update. Can't really divulge what's going on, because even me myself is unsure whether the plans will work out. And it will take quite some time and effort. hmmm... will see...

I realised this is my 1000th post in this blog. This blog has been with me for exactly 5 years... since October 2004. Pretty amazing. Used to switch blogs very often... and till date I have 15 different blogs shown at my dashboard, under this blogger account. Some of which are learning journals, BFF blogs, school project journals, portfolio journals and personal blogs... but mostly not in use now.

Dar just left for flight a few hours ago. And so I'm left alone in the room. This time he decided not to bring along his precious 17" lappie. So I'm hogging onto it happily. Erm, but it doesn't mean that I prefer the companion of a lappie than dar's. I would gladly give up the com for dar's company. Anytime. I swear .,

Argh. I knew it. Something disastrous would happen when I am away. True enough, my com is spoilt! On the night I returned back to sg, my com just wouldn't start no matter how many times dar and I tried to fix it. I believed my brother murdered my com. Dar said it means time for a new com! I want a lappie more "zai" than dar's or equally as "zai".

I NEED a new lappie and a new camera. Still can't decide whether to go for Lumix GF1 or Olympus EP1. Any suggestions? Or is there a better choice for semi-pro cams? I have been lamenting for a new camera for the longest time. I have always wanted a dslr, but I reckon I won't be able to bring that chunky thing out around with me, and I won't feel comfortable being seen with it. So it isn't a wise choice for me to get the typical bulky dslr. And I'm sure dar is not willing to carry it around for me :(

Anyway, enough of the draggy and boring stuffs. Photos... more photos.

I booked dar in advance for 3rd October. Told him to keep the day free cus I've got program. But in the end I decided to tell him what was it about. I told him we are going for MovieMob! He was like, "What's that!" And I explained to him it is a Drive-In movie experience. Gladly, he agreed to it! And the day came... we left the house rather early cus dar insist that we have to be there earlier to get a better car lot. Typical singaporean. This time, moviemob was held ay Tanjong Rhu View. So we went to Katong for Punggol Nasi Lemak before the moviemob.

Dar³ surround the whole car space with all our soft toys. You can't imagine how many soft toys we have in the car. It seems uncountable to me already. The whole car boot is totally filled with nothing except our soft toys, and there's no more space for anything else.

In another few hours' time, I'll be leaving this boring place again! Yippie! So I thought I better do a blog post before I leave, otherwise my dear friends and LGS girls will think I MIA. I'm going to Hongkong again! This time with my mum and aunt. Dad is in Vietnam for biz trip. So I guess my sis and bro are prepared to create some havoc at home while all of us are away. *I can sense their evil grin. No! Stay out of my room!* Dar will be doing a HK-SFO flight, so we will get to meet up in Hongkong for a few days. Yippie! Of course we weren't so lucky, it is not a coincidence. Dar had to swap for flight. Thanks dar! Cold noodles and Kai Dan Zai here we come! We'll eat till both of us are totally satiate :)

22nd September...
Shopping with BFF again! Went to town in the noon to meet Agnes. PL came to meet us after work for dinner. We had dinner at Taka's Imperial Treasure. The La Mian taste awesome! After that, we went to taka to get mooncakes for our boyfriends' parents. Shangri~la's snowskin mooncake totally melts in mouth! After that, I headed back to dar's place to pass his parents the mooncake.

24th September...
Went to Delwyn's place to make cheesecake with Agnes. She was telling me that she haven't ate my cheesecake for very long and misses it. So we decide to make it together. Too bad dar wasn't in SG... it was our 15th mensiversary. Otherwise, I'll make one for him too!

29th September...
Dar³ finally back from a 8 days Moscow-Houston flight! I heart his gorgeous surprise for me to bits!!! Saw this the moment I walked into the room. I almost screamed, or did I? He got it from VS, and he said he only took 2 mins to choose my pressie. He told his crew mate that he was going in to VS to get a pressie for me, 2 mins later he walked out and said he got it. His crew mate was like "So fast??!!" Dar³ told me this, and I was like "No heart!" He replied saying no, it's because he know my taste too well. Yaya. I give it to you.

Dar helped Agnes and I to get Sweet Pea body wash, hand wash and body butter from Bath and Body Works. I fell in love with sweet pea under the influence of Agnes, who have been raving so much about the scent. So I now love it so much that I've put aside all my VS bottles of shower gel and started using Sweet Pea first.

And my small small pressie for dardar. Not really a pressie though, but just bought it while I was out shopping with Agnes for myself cus I reckoned he'll like it. Bought two pairs of cross earrings for him.

Look at how he bully me when he's back. For almost 2 weeks, we didn't have a maid in his house. I became dar's personal maid. He piled up all his clothes on me after they were dry. And he didn't care whether I could handle it, but just keep piling them onto me and ask me carry all to the room. So mean!

1st October...
Met up with Gina and Kylie over at st. james. The member's queue was so freaking long. I nearly felt like giving up. But I didn't want to make a wasted trip, and go home feeling so alone and pathetic. And the girls were already inside waiting for me, I wanna see them! Moreover, I wasted hell load of eyeliner that night. Thanks to someone who made my eyes so swollen.

Dar lost the bet to me. He insisted that both lan shop and our home L4D versions cannot shove zombies away continuously. But i was sure that only the lan shop version have loading time for shove but for our home versionwe can shove continuously... so i say lets bet! (cus i was so damn sure even though he plays 2847927659 more times than me) And yes!! I proved to him I was right!

He had to do my contact lens for me (wash my contact lens case and pour solution). But at this moment I was caught stepping onto the bed with wet feets. The bad bf used this opportunity and
said, "You choose, either you get beating or go and do your contact lens yourself!" I was sadistic enough to choose beating. Ouch! BAD BF!

LGS LGS LGS taiwan collection part 6 will be launched asap. I think it should be a VERYPINK collection!
I love my new big head stitch... it looks stupidly adorable... and is extremely huggable... (my temporary replacement of my buibuibahbah boyfriend)
I can't wait to use my whole new set of cosmetics!... chanel foundation, inuovi perfector concealer, stage eye primer, shu uemura eye liner, shu uemura mascara, stage lip gloss... whee~ I love my aunt!
My new hair colour looks pretty... but need to go back for a second job on monday cus it wasn't done well enough :( I spent 3 hours in the salon today! Waste cabfare and time! (I love the new atas looking salon at Stamford House though)
Not much time left! I've got tons and TONS of stuffs undone!
I want more moolah $! I NEED more moolah $! (dar's birthday in oct, 2 holidays, mummy & daddy's birthday in nov, xmas in dec... I'm really going to eat grass for the next few months)

My fingernails are getting TOO MUCH attention. I swear 80% of the retail sales people notice my nails. They are more interested in my nails than getting my sales. Every SINGLE day I face these questions... and the words are stuck in my mind... "How you wash you hair?", "How you eat?", "Must be very expensive. How much you paid?", "You cannot wash your hands la?"(I seriously think this is the dumbest question), "Your ribbon get wet how?!!" ... let me answer all these questions if you are having the same doubts... I wash my hair slowly and use my fingertips and not nails. I eat with a spoon and fork or chopsticks. I paid a reasonable price of $162. I wash my hands with soap and rinse my hands under the tap. My ribbon just like your clothes gets dry after a while.
(Last but definitely not least) Dardar, I miss you. Can't wait for tues to come. 10 days is such a long time :(

It' s 6.20am now. If Agnes knows I'm still awake... she's so gonna scold me. Have to wake up in a few hours' time and go over to her place before we head elsewhere. Chatting to dar over msn now. I'm like following his time over in states. What's new?

Anyway, in short I've been meeting Agnes like 2-3 times a week for the past few weeks? We've been meeting up to do some shopping, do some market research, run some errands, buy mooncakes for our boyfriends' parents, bake cake, etc. There's never-ending stuffs to do with my BFF! Totally heart her!

Last week, we went to town. Had lunch at sakae sushi. Did some shopping.. and really can't remember what did we exactly do. Cus we've been meeting up so often till I forgot what we did on which day. lol. Oh I rmb, it was prada and longchamp day! Haha. she would know what I mean.

Oh yah. It's was the 12th. I forgot to wish someone whom I've diligently wish "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" for the past 13 years of my life? Oie! JOEL CHONG MING ER... i don't know if you still drop by here... by anyway... "HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!"

And oh yah, too bad Agnes and I missed seeing you at westmall today... didn't realise you walked past... until my hp rang and saw your name... and I knew immediately surely u saw me. lol.

Yippie! Dar brought me to ECP again (after much persuasion, actually not really). But before that, we had punggol nasi lemak... shiok! And I'm craving for it again. DAR... come back and let's go there again!

Didn't catch much that day :( Only caught 2 medium plushies - Angel (stitch's gf) and Miss Bunny. And little small toys.

But! The total amount came up to $40 over plus.

17th September 2009

Dardar had to wake up at 6.45 am to prepare for his bangkok turn. The moment he stepped into the bathroom, I grabbed my wallet and keys and rushed out of the house. I was hoping that I will be able to find some ingredients at 7-11 to cook breakfast for dar³.. unfortunately there was nothing in the newly renovated convenience store. I ran down to the basement to check whether NTUC is open... but it wasn't. My last resort was Macdonald. So I went back up to mac but it wasn't open too. I saw some students waiting at the shuttle, so I guess Mac should be opening soon. So I waited too. At 7am, the shuttle opened, I was damn happy! I went in and ordered 2 big breakfast set meals.

More than 30 minutes have past, and that ungrateful boyfriend didn't even bother to call me to ask how come I went missing.

I went back up with 3 plastic bags of mac, open the room door... he was still happily preparing. I asked "Why u didn't call me?" He replied "I know you went down." Hmpf! And he added, "Ha! Lucky you went down. If not I was going to complain about you not making breakfast!" wth.

Dar went out with the guys. Before that, we had dinner at Holland V and he dropped me off at Agnes' place. Shopping at Agnes' place again! wheee~ Then, agnes and del wanted me to bring them to cine to catch small Miss Bunny.

But we ended up with bigger stuffs!

Agnes caught miss bunny and thumper. And I caught thumper for my miss bunny (aka pico).

totally far cry from what we had in Taiwan.

Disappointing food... but it's alright!...

Will be going to Hongkong in Oct, and Taiwan in November.

I finally uploaded the long overdue photos from my iPhone. I'm starting to use my phone's camera more often. Ever since I updated my phone to version 3.0, the camera quality seems better. I don't know if it's a me thing or the camera really does perform better. But anyhow, I still wanna get a better camera! (dar always goes... "I don't know if you really need such good camera.. blah~" But at least I know I always maximize the usage of my cameras)

Was my aunt's birthday. Mummy, aunt, dar³ and I went for fine dining lunch at One Rochester's Cassis. It was dar³'s treat for the 3 pretty ladies. Yippie! I always get to enjoy such privileges whenever dar tries to make effort to make people around me happy :) keke.

Food taste was pretty good. But not exactly the best I've have tried. I think in terms of value vs. quality, it's quite a rip-off. The price paid doesn't exactly match up to the quality and type of food. As usual, fine dinning food portions are extremely small, so I don't expect to feel full after that. But at the basic, I do expect better quality. However, I have to admit the ambience was rather impressive... it's actually more of a modernistic fine dining restaurant. And the good thing is there are only about 5 tables in the restaurant.

Met up with Agnes in town for a tad bit of shopping. And we went to do our nails over at Far East Plaza. I think I was in the nail parlor for almost 3 hours. Agnes left early to catch a movie with Del. After my nails were done, I went to e-games to meet bert, tiff, cashe and david for L4D! On my way, I was seriously thinking "Can I still play L4D with my nails?"

Bert, tiff and I left e-games at 1am and we meet camy before going into Butter Fac to join Joleen.

Dar and I went pak-toh-ing. We went to youth park for dinner before movie. Had satay and stringray. But I don't really like the minced chicken satay. Definitely prefer the normal satay!

After dinner, we crossed over to cine to catch 3D Final Destination. I think I'm looking forward to watch a 3D cartoon cus the trailers before FD started looked really fantastic!

Anyway, Buffie is wearing the Eeyore costume that her daddy bought from states Build-A-Bear. Damn cute la. Extra padded tummy, pink ribbon tail and Eeyore head hood (behind her).

Dar and I met up with cashe, david, tiffy, bert, stephy and elmer at river valley for L4D. Both Tiffy and I happened to bring our Miss Bunny(ssss) along.

Joleen, Andy and Leonard came from e-games to join us. But we got kinda fed-up with the "deaf" people who inconsiderately blasted their speakers as if they were the only people playing and the problematic computers, that we left for e-games instead. Ha. Joleen and the 2 guys made a wasted trip.

Dar brought me for dinner at a "surprise" place as promised. Days before that, I was wondering what "surprise" place? I was imagining a dinner by the beach or seaview, or something romantic like that. But when we arrived at the destination, I was like "Chey!" Then dar³ said, "Huh, you don't like?" lol. I like. Just that I expected something more from the way he kept me in suspense. hahaa. Nonetheless, he made me a very happy girl :) Thank you baby!

Oh ya, he brought me to the Japanese restaurant at iluma, which he once said he will bring me there to dine when we first went to iluma.

We didn't know there were actually 2 separate restaurants within that big restaurant. So we settled down at restaurant 1.

Dar ordered Sapporo beer.

Bert and tiffy came to iluma to meet us. We went to the hongkong cafe at liang seah st for supper.

We took a very very long time to decide the next activity. After much discussion, we headed to dar's place to take the poker chips set over to my place for drinks and games!

I spent the last 12 hours updating Prettytempts and LGS.

I have to do this before dar³ touches down at 8am (1 hr from now). Dar say I'll get scolded if he doesn't see work done when he reached home.

Anyway, I received quite a number of enquiries regarding Gucci wallets and the Coach picture frame keyfobs that dar³ bought previously for Agnes and me. Agnes and I totally heart the wallet and keyfob! So we decided to share it with you girls! We only brought in the items in quantity of one for each item.

The D-ring Gucci wallets are retailing at a whooping SGD680 and above in Singapore Gucci Boutiques. Dar bought them directly from states which cost lower. And we are selling them at SGD530.

As for the Coach keyfobs, I went to Coach boutique with Agnes on Saturday and realised that the picture frame keyfobs are priced at SGD85! And we are selling them at SGD55.

My shoulder is painfully aching :( feeling very heaty and uncomfortable due to insufficient rest. Couldn't get to sleep last night till almost 5am in the morning :( My body clock is somehow screwed up. And I was telling Agnes I do silly things in my own room after staying with dar³ so long. I usually sleep only when the sun is up, between 7-9am... and when I see the sun, I quickly take my extra big hello kitty blanket and hang on the poles of my princess beds to cover the sun. Why? Cus I'm used to dar's 100% no sun rays curtain.... day look like night. Yesterday, I wanted to wash my feet in the bathroom. I got too used to dar's house shower which water will first come out from the bottom tap and not the top shower. I totally forgot that it doesn't work the same for my bathroom, one moment I lifted up the tap, the next moment I realised I was drenched in my clothes. *faints*

Dar happily enjoying himself in states (but finally shopping for me)! Yesterday I called him while he was shopping...

Me: Where are you?
Dar: I'm at Build-A-Bear.
Me: What you doing there?
Dar: Buying clothes for Buffie la.
Me: *jealous*
Dar: Here got a lot of clothes... Got~~~~~.... blah blah.

I think he spent more time in Build-A-Bear for Buffie than in Katespade for me.
Lucky Buffie. She still got brand new clothes in dar's wardrobe not worn yet lo.
But nvm, i know Buffie = Me. Right dar³?

Cos it's cheaper over there as compared to SG.

Played L4D at Iluma. The normal rate ($3.80) there per hour is almost double the usual lan shops we go. But dar insisted on going cus he heard meeting up with pretty babes to play. (Asshole right?) Met up with Joleen, Camy, Eileen and Hanna for L4D. I have to admit that the armchair there is superbly comfortable, guarantee no backaches after playing for long hours. While waiting for Elynn and Hannah to arrived, Joleen, Camy, Dar and I went to the arcade next to it to play some games. And we played this game something like "Who wants to be a million air", but with 4 players. It was cheap thrill but really feels fun (especially when you know you get the correct answers)! Lets go again!

Anyway after gaming, dar and I went to liang seah st for dinner. We settled down at this Taiwan Lai Lai Beef Noodle restaurant. And I totally didn't regret choosing this over the hongkong cafe which was packed. I love the beef noodles! Anyway we ordered two sets of meal. Each meal comes with a main, a side and bubble tea.

Work at Fort Canning with Joleen was terribly embarrassing. It's like one of the worst, or rather, the most embarrassing event ever. Initially we thought it would be fun to dress up at Madonna and Marilyn Monroe, but when we saw the costumes, we almost fainted instantly. We dragged ourselves to the ladies and dreaded terribly long. We were both reluctantly to wear Madonna's long and pointed obscene bra. But luckily the shorts was ridiculously mini to fit both Joleen's and mine asses... and I quickly looked for the in-charge and told him that the shorts was impossible to wear. After much distress and discussion, I didn't need to wear Madonna's costume. Phew! But we couldn't escaped from "Miss Peggy's" wigs though. I swear I never did feel so ugly before, I think it was the same case for Joleen. For the first time, no one ever asked my name (even if there is, I will definitely not give my real name) or even looked at me without sneering. We practically shunned from all the photographers. I told Joleen don't smile your usual way if you can't escape from the camera. This smart girl remembered what I told her. But silly me forgot about what I said. That 1 hour felt like it was taking forever. And I was praying so hard that I won't bump into people I know. But even so, I was telling Joleen they wouldn't want to come up to us and acknowledge knowing us. People would probably asked them, "Oh man, you know that ugly girl?" Anyway, no photos taken, otherwise my camera's lens would certainly crack.

After work, we went over to PlazaSing for shopping and dinner. I couldn't resist the UFO machines again. This time I caught My Melody with $13. Loves~ It was totally frustrating to find somewhere to settle down for dinner. Practically everywhere was packed and with a long queue. We decided to get out of the building and look for food else where. We ended up at The Atrium having Sakae Sushi. After one whole day, I decided to take out my cosmetic pouch to touch up before heading to Mimolette. Only then I realised I left all my face powder and cosmetic pouch at home. Sianz. I was still asking Joleen, did you see me taking out my cosmetic pouch? She said no, I didn't see you touch up at all. I was hesitating whether to go to Mimolette, but didn't want to leave my dear girl alone. So I still went :)

Social house on saturday night!

I quickly passed to him and say, "Nah. Give you!"

He looked at me for a moment, "Huh?"...

Then he read the note hanging on My Melody...

Then he said, "But actually I prefer the red one!"
wth. I replied, "But pink one nicer!"
He said, "So you catch for me or yourself?"

Dar came home from Denpasar Bali. When he was unpacking his luggage outside the room, he shouted, "Dar! Come out."... Then I quickly ran out of the room and asked him at the same time, "Got present for me?" Then he took out a plastic from his luggage, "Nah for you."

I opened up the plastic and "Chey!". He exclaimed defensively immediately, "What the hell! From Bali one ok! I specially ordered somemore!"

Hahaa. Ok la. Dar knows I love to eat kueh lapis. And I like to eat layer by layer. If anyone anyhow bites my slice from any corner, I will, "OIE!"

Today, Dar ordered mac for me online when he's right now in the states.
He had to do this to appease me. Hmph.

See, I forgive you so easily.

Ordered too much. I haven't even started eating mc wings and my stomach was filled up to the brim already. Keeping it for supper!

I thought this would be a rather short post. It ended up such a long one. But... I finally caught up with today's date! Yay!
