i'm not going to talk about my papers anymore... totally gave up hope... i'm going get results that i've never gotten before.... just as nice as the first alphabet of my name. *cross fingers + toes* 2 hrs to mummy's birthday... 19 hrs more for books to be thrown aside... 1 more day *i pray... please grant yy her day*... 2 more days... i'm flying off =) time zooms pass... ((it's sad to know that someone who was once part of your life becomes a stranger...))
i'm so upset with myself... questions that i could once answered almost perfectly... becomes disastrous... i screwed up my econs paper today... the paper was relatively easy... none of d questions seemed unfamiliar to me i realised i made plenty of careless mistakes... some i did not read the question properly... a couple that i carelessly missed one or more step in d calculations...
i wrote so slow that i couldn't finish writing my answers... 10 marks gone for the monopolistic competition question...
since the paper is so easy... it simply means i'm dead with the the bell-shape marking system...
i'm in deep shit... econs paper is tmr... i can't even answer 1/4 of the questions in past year papers... boohoohoo... can someone please "accidentally" knock me out in the exam hall tmr before paper starts? the questions are driving me crazie... argh! i detest ppl who can answer those questions as if it as easy as ABC... oh God... please send me an answer sheet during exam.... please please... i promise i will be a good girl... i'll stop spending so much money... i'll listen to mummy and daddy... i'll stop flirting... i'll help my brother with his school work... i'll try to abstain from booze and sex... anything u ask for.. i'll fulfill just as long as you send me an answer scipt ok?
i barely have time to sleep... this is how i look like @.@ now... two pathetic days left... yet i haven't even cover half of what i have to study for econs... and i left two modules totally untouched. i practically burnt my nights away... on monday night... didn't sleep till tues morning 6am... was supposed to reach sch at 10am to meet sharlene in the library to study... but in the end i only reached sch at 12 plus... forced myself to study alone in the library till 8.30pm... called jirong and asked if she wants to go over my place to study... so she came and stayed up the night with me to study till 5am... set the alarm at 9am this morning... omgoodness... jirong managed to woke up in time... i was soooo tired... only managed to drag myself out of bed close to 9am... had our breakfast and got started on our study marathon again till 7pm... but i took two power naps in between... each abt 20 mins... jirong left... had my dinner... and watched tv for 2 hours... i like the 7pm show on channel u now... but i'm gonna miss 90% of the episodes... so i shall go and look for the vcd/dvd. i'm sooooooo physically and mentally drained... but i've no other choice... i either use up till the last bit of my energy... or get prepared to get FFFF on my transcript. anyway... i can predict that there will be no ADs and As this sem... *touch wood* i dun even dare to think about getting Bs. ohhhh... my books and papers are making noises already... i've got to spend time with them... bye darlings =( ...
went down to buttcheeks to collect my pay... at the same time, signed the new contract today... had dinner at sushi tei with ace... shopped around in taka... i want that gold gucci bag!!!...argh... so pissed... i can't work this year's big boys toys again... got the assignment too late... have already booked my air tickets to hongkong...by the way, i'll be bring my laptop along... i'll try to take pics of whatever i buy... so if any of u want to get anything that i bought... let me know ya (email/sms/msn)... i'll see if i can go back and help you get.i'm sick of studying at night... kinda miss partying with hot babes through the nights... i don't care... gonna drag all my darlings out on 1st dec... the only day i have before i leave for hongkong cos exams end on 30thanyway... i have not load pics for quite some time... some backdated photos taken on Gina's 21st birthday...

As we let go... love shall continue in our beautiful memories...
omg... i can't believe i've been doing these for days... till 4am every morning... reading and reading and reading nothing but history... from 14th century to modern day history... the rise old imperialism to new imperialism... then to colonisalism... eventually nationalism and decolonization... and lastly globalisation i can't believe now i actually know the characteristics of different eras... the weird thing is... the more i read the more i'm loving history again... even though it's driving me crazy, especially with the amount of readings i have to do... one main textbook, one supplementary book which i borrowed from the library... one whole stack of lecture ppt slides, one pile of lecture notes... 13 tutorial readings (each about 20 pages)... i've been smiling as i read the notes... is this a post symtom of becoming a geek? hmm... at least at the end of this module... i think i've gained better general knowledge... -business student in transformation-
diamonds are women's bestfriend... diamonds will never make me cry... at the boutique... the lady boss was fretting over whether to get the 323 which her son insists on getting or the 523 which is her ideal choice... her son prefers the 323 as it would seem more convincing that he's the owner of the car... driving the 523 would leave an impression that it belongs to his mum. if only my dad allows me to drive his 523... who cares what people think. my mum expressed that she too faces the same problem... "You see... i say this diamond ring nice... she say not nice... she wants that diamond ring means she must get it..." *wah... suddenly i got implicated too... "The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom." mothers will always try their best to accomodate their children... my mum bought me my love... Piaget dancing... and i reckon the lady boss will buy the 323 for the son too... ((boys love cars... girls love diamonds...))
oh yah... i've booked my air tickets to hongkong... mummy won't be going with me... flying off on 2nd dec... returning on the 13th dec... then i'll have 3 days in singapore before i leave for china... sigh... don't know if should feel happy or sad... leaving because i really don't want to be here?... or just running away from reality?
Running out of time... Exams are starting next week... i haven't even cover half a module... i'm pretty screwed... oh well... that's why i'm still studying at this hour... anyway... was daddy's birthday yst 161106 went to Raffles Town Club... had dinner at the Japanese Restaurant. hmmm.. still deciding if i should go hongkong alone... simply becos i think i need to be alone, or rather i want... or should i persuade mummy to go with me? life is getting sadder... suddenly... i just don't want to be in singapore... and it has never occurred to me that i would ever feel this way... sigh... wad have i done to hurt myself again and again? ((d truth is... if i ever chance upon a shooting star... i wish time could be turn back... and allow us to meet earlier. i replied that i would wished for your happiness becos you said you would wish for mine... i miss u ='(... ))
On the trash can I saw something Patiently sitting there With only one eye seems staring Oh poor teddy bear Rug at first look Body is ripped savagely Just left in one nook Poor teddy dumped in misery Still it wears a smile on its lips Which tries to convince the passer by Even it looks despair and almost rip It never asked God why For it knows someone will sew the broken body Someone can give genuine love and care Sooner it can bid farewell agony For it knows God is just there... ((even if teddy feels sad, she'll never bear to forget u becos chocolates and strawberries now taste better than before... and nothing is sweeter than building sandteddy with u... bye my sweetest baby... teddy's love))
i've got a new baby... lalaaaa... last week, i saw a wireless mouse at a designer shop in citylink... almost bought it for my macbook but had second thoughts bcos it was sold at a exorbitant price of $79.90... today i found the exact mouse at $15 so i bought it without hesitation =) it was a waste of time at school today. new media lecture was nonsense... had 4 hrs of break after that... attended history lecture which only lasted 15 minutes. today was my first time reaching school on time for tues lect... cos ace picked me up at 9.30am and drove me to school... argh... shouldn't have woke up just to go school... realised i'm sucha pig now... over months... i've grown to love sleeping. just now... mummy told me that she read from somewhere... that foretell my love life for next year will be very dull. my 16-yr-old sister immediately asked mummy "Then mine leh?" mummy exclaimed, "what! what love life you got??!!" *lol... laughs* stupid girl. "Locking away your negative feelings is just as bad for you as overeating." that's what my horoscope says for today... and in fact i'm really trying very hard not to think of something... i just don't want to think of it... don't wanna face it... because it makes me feel so depress to a point whereby i can't concentrate on my studies. i need to take a breather... maybe... i should just go hongkong right after exams... and come back just in time for my trip to china... when i come back from china on christmas... i should just spend 3 days in batam at the spa resort. And by that time... i'll probably stop pinning my hopes on the world's two most hopeless creatures. RIGHT! i should start planning...
LaLaaLaaaLaaaaaLaaLa no doubt he's my potion of happiness... i was feeling all depress and was tearing for a moment... doodling my notes with =( =( =( *suffering from pms symptom again*... then came a phone call... mMmmmuaCccKzZzz... because of you... she's not tearing anymore =) ((d blossom tree thing made her laughed... d concern made her smile =)... d voice that shook her heart once again...)) -yuan yuan-
i wasted another day... instead of staying at home to study... i went shopping again...
ace picked me up at 11.30am... and sent me to pasir laba camp to pass babymerv his key pouch... went to paragon for lunch at Ding Tai Feng... walked around in paragon after lunch... ended up in metro... check out their 20% storewide sales... (but most stuff is on credit basis... you still have to pay full sum) anyway... bought anna sui's two way cake refill and blusher... yippie i've got new lingerie again! ace sponsored my shopping =) *lucky girl ain't i*
someone signed this today... and promised to bring me somewhere on a particular day =) mmmmmUacccKzzZzzz!
((she was happie even though it was just a minute... if there were only mondays to thursdays in a week... she'd probably be the happiest teddy in the world...))
rushed down to school by cab just to meet dr. emmanuel for consultation... after that... made a trip all the way to cathay... wanted to collect my pay from buttcheeks... sigh... aaghir wasn't there... he owes me so much $$$... met up with janice... was going to shop for gina's pressie... see what happens when two shopping queens are together... we ended up going gaga over everything... lol... i can be your best as well as worst shopping partner... i'm sure those who have ever shopped with me will understand what i meant... the good thing is i can gurantee you'll never return home empty handed... the bad thing is my spending habit is so bad that it becomes very influential... you'll end up burning a hole in your pocket... coming out with me is never about spending... but splurging.... don't believe?...
it's actually more than what it seems to be... bags within bags and smaller bags hidden in between
((So tell me how you feel (im lonely) Are you for real (so lonely) Do you still think of me (i think of you) Baby still (are you lonely) Do you dream of me at night (like i dream of you all the time) So let me tell you how it feels (its like everyday i die)))
lol. i came across this on a forum... laughed at some points... which make me go "yes yes"... those in bold are the ones that strongly relates to me... and i've striked out those that i totally have no idea what is it... read through... it makes you laugh =D
1. You grew up watching He-man, Transformers, Silverhawk, Ultraman, Super Friends, Woody WoodPecker, Tom & Jerry, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Smurfs and Mickey Mouse. Not to forget, maybe Ninja turtles too.
2. You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in primary school during recess time. You would squat by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brush your teeth with a colored mug. The teachers said you must brush each side ten times. Not forgetting the silly red tablet which you know not the purpose for.
3. You know what SBC stands for.
4. You know in school, you couldsubscribe to get the milkwhich would come before you go back home. Some days you would get chocolate milk, other days strawberry. The old Magnolia fresh milk came in a triangular packet.
5. You were there when the first Chinese serial, The Awakening was shown on TV.
6. Everyone in class would tremble in fear when someone with a gauze stuck in the mouth came to your class and called out a name to go visit the school dentist.
7. You find your friends with pagers and handphone cool in secondary school.
8. SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats were made of wood and the cushion was red. The big red bell gave a loud BEEEP when pressed. There were colorful tickets for CSS buses. The conductor would check tickets using a machine that punched a hole in each ticket. All SBS buses used to be manually operated, with a gigantic gearstick to the left of the driver.
9. Your favorite actor and actress were Huang Wenyong and Xiang Yun. Next were Li Nanxing and Zoe Tay and the Aiyoyo woman (Chen Liping).
10. You've probably read Young Generation magazine. You know who's Vinny the Little Vampire and Constable Acai. For some, cikgu will always ask to buy the "Dewan Bahasa" magazine.
11. You were there when they first introduced MRT here (Yio Chu Kang to Toa Payoh). You went for the first ride with your parents and you would kneel on the seat to see the scenery.
12. Movie tickets used to cost only $3.50. Tickets were scrawled across using big red pencils. Ushers brought you into the cinemas using big metallic torchlights.
13. Gals were fascinated by Strawberry Short Cake and Barbie Dolls. You also collected sticker books of Street Fighter, The Semi-Pro Soccer League (for boys) and care bears (for girls) by Panini, trying to complete the impossible task of filling up each sticker book.
14. You remember some taxis were green in color. Taxis had gearsticks behind the steering wheel, with a transparent knob and little colorful flowers inside the knobs.
15. You longed to buy tidbits called Kaka (20 cents per pack), and Ding Dang (50 cents per box), that had a toy in it and it changes every week. Not forgetting the 15-cent animal crackers and the ringpop, where the lollipop is the diamond on the ring.
16. You watched TV2 (also known as Channel 10) cartoons because Channel 5 never had enough cartoons for you.
17. All that you know about Cantonese is from the Hong Kong serials you watched on TV2. You probably would remember George Lam as the moustached man whose line was "Are you OK?" in the Guiness Stout Advertisement.
18. You grew up reading ladybird books. Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators, Famous Five and Secret Seven were probably the thickest story books you ever thought you had. Even Sweet Valley High and Malory Towers. You also love Enid Blyton's Enchanted Wood, Magic Faraway tree…
19. The only food you bought from McDonalds was the fish fillet burger and French fries as it wasn’t halal back then and your parents didn’t allow you to buy other stuff.
20. KFC used to be a high class place that let you use metal forks and knives.
21. The most vulgar thing you said was "asshole" and "idiot"… you just couldn’t bring yourself to say the Hokkien relative.
22. Catching was the "in" thing (a.k.a. Police and Thief) and twist or "choap" was the magic word. For those who always frequented the void decks, there was the "rumah dayak", Octopus and "Goli Duit".
23. Your English workbook was made of some poor quality paper that was smooth and yellow. And the textbooks were striped in different colors for different levels.
24. Some part of your school was ALWAYS haunted, like the toilet or clock tower or a certain block. You walk fast to avoid them.
25. The only computer lessons in school involved funny pixel characters in 16 colors walking about trying to teach you math. You printed with noisy dot matrix printers and used computer paper with two rows of holes at the sides. Mouse? What’s that?
26. Waterbottles, with your favorite cartoon character on it, were slung around your neck and a must everywhere you go.
27. Boys loved to play soccer with small tennis balls in the basketball court.
28. Hopscotch, five stones, chapteh and zero point were all the rage with the girls and boys too… Remember 5 times, highest, one-inch…
28. Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the most important plants of our lives. Remember the "Young Scientist" badge you got when you completed the set of tasks in written on the blue booklet for "Young Ecologist", "Young Botanist", etc? The first excursion to the Science Centre was the best day of your life.
29. Who could forget Ahmad, Bala, Gopal, Sumei, Peihua and John, eternalised in the textbooks. Even Mr. Wolly, Mr. Yakki.
31. You did stupid exercises like seal crawl and frog jumps.
32. Every Children's Day and National Day you either get pencils or pens printed with "Happy Children's Day 1983" or dumb files printed with "Happy National Day 1984".
33. In Primary Six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother.
34. There was an ACES day where you would get this stupid hat and do the Great Singapore Workout.
35. The Scouts used to wear shorts, and the NCC uniform was a plain green color without camouflage.
36. The worksheets were made of rough brown paper of poor quality.During art and craft classes, you had to make your own art folio using a vanguard sheet.
37. You went to school in slippers and a raincoat when it rained, and you find a dry spot in the school to sit and wipe yourself dry. Then you wear your dry and warm socks and shoes.
38. During National Day, you would have to do and decorate your own shakers, usually using a cassette tape container, or an empty aluminium can with green beans inside all taped up and decorated with white and red paper. Who can forget the all-time favorite recorder you played during music lessons?
39. After exams, you brought Game & Watch to school, and played card games like "Snap", "Donkey" and "Old Maid". You also played pick-up sticks and Snakes & Ladders and the aeroplane board game. Those erasers with the flags were also a popular game. Either that or you would play those cards comparing aeroplanes, warships, or tanks - who had more firepower or speed or weight, etc.
40. You remember your uncles, big brothers and father screaming and shouting in front of the TV when the Singapore soccer team (always in blue jerseys) played against the Malaysians.
41. Your friends considered you lucky and rich if your parents gave you $3 or more for pocket money everyday.
42. During class gatherings, parents always tag along in case someone gets lost at Orchard Road.
43. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl.
44. Handkerchieves were a must for both genders
45. Collecting notebooks, erasers and all kinds of stationery was a popular thing. The bookshop was a favorite place to go to get all those stuff during recess.
46. Autograph books were loaded with "Best Wishes", "Forget Me Not", and little poems like "Birds fly high, hard to catch. Friends like you, hard to forget".
47. Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk somemore, I write your name ah!" (lol. because i was the one who writes people's names on the board and prefect's notebook)
48. You remember songs sung by a huge group of people, like 4U2C, Feminin, Nico (Malay) and the English "We Are The World". In secondary school, you listened to Bananarama, Jason Donavan, Kylie Minogue, New Kids on the Block, ABBA, and Tommy Page (Remember "A Shoulder to Cry On"?)
49. Large, colorful schoolbags were carried. And fanciful pencil cases with lots of small tiny drawers, trays, sharpener or thermometer that pop out at the push of a button were the "in" thing.
50. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable, written on the inside cover of your little blue notebook.

omg... i can't believe i've been doing these for days... till 4am every morning... reading and reading and reading nothing but history... from 14th century to modern day history... the rise old imperialism to new imperialism... then to colonisalism... eventually nationalism and decolonization... and lastly globalisation i can't believe now i actually know the characteristics of different eras... the weird thing is... the more i read the more i'm loving history again... even though it's driving me crazy, especially with the amount of readings i have to do... one main textbook, one supplementary book which i borrowed from the library... one whole stack of lecture ppt slides, one pile of lecture notes...

6:24 PM

RIGHT! i should start planning...

ace picked me up at 11.30am... and sent me to pasir laba camp to pass babymerv his key pouch... went to paragon for lunch at Ding Tai Feng... walked around in paragon after lunch... ended up in metro... check out their 20% storewide sales...
((she was happie even though it was just a minute... if there were only mondays to thursdays in a week... she'd probably be the happiest teddy in the world...))

rushed down to school by cab just to meet dr. emmanuel for consultation... after that... made a trip all the way to cathay... wanted to collect my pay from buttcheeks... sigh... aaghir wasn't there... he owes me so much $$$... met up with janice... was going to shop for gina's pressie... see what happens when two shopping queens are together... we ended up going gaga over everything... lol... i can be your best as well as worst shopping partner... i'm sure those who have ever shopped with me will understand what i meant... the good thing is i can gurantee you'll never return home empty handed... the bad thing is my spending habit is so bad that it becomes very influential... you'll end up burning a hole in your pocket... coming out with me is never about spending... but splurging.... don't believe?...
it's actually more than what it seems to be... bags within bags and smaller bags hidden in between
((where are you baby?... goodnite.))

lol. i came across this on a forum... laughed at some points... which make me go "yes yes"... those in bold are the ones that strongly relates to me... and i've striked out those that i totally have no idea what is it... read through... it makes you laugh =D
50. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable, written on the inside cover of your little blue notebook.

i just received an email from dr. emmanuel... omg... i almost broke down in tears when i read it... he's the nicest lecturer/ tutor i've ever met... he was clearing his inbox and came across an email which i sent him in the very beginning... one that he has replied before (4 things about me) anyway, he actually emailed me just to ask me how am i coping... hoping that i am feeling a lil better about history... and his door is always open if i needed any help he's sooooo nice... really lucky to have him as my tutor... his lessons are never boring... and he's the best history tutor among all the others... if only he teaches every single module in arts... i'm sure i'll not have second thoughts of staying in arts if that ever happens.
