last wednesday...
met up with law at westmall to catch a movie...
ended up watching a blood-soaked horror movie, 'Black Sheep'...
filled with violence and gore...
the scenes are really bloody, gross and disgusting...
lamb's zombie-like bite turns sheep and people into vicious flesh-eaters...
yucks... what an ugly thing! *hair stand*
sunday...
dear brought me to attend Grand Copthorne's Bridal Show...
showcasing the latest wedding themes and trends...
and a fashion show featuring Divine Couture bridal gowns...
featuring special rates for wedding packages at Grand Copthorne.
we are going to get married!
the gowns are so pretty and the place is perfect for such once in a lifetime occasion...
the food was really good...
and most importantly, we were offered assuredly good deals...
so we went ahead with the wedding booking.
hee... i'm just kidding lar...
accompanied dear there for some work purposes.
hahaa... my dear girls must be grasping their breaths while reading those sentences...
i'm not that irrational... haven't complete my studies... no money... how to get married?
anyway... the bridal show was splendid...
the gowns were lavishly elaborated with diamonds...
the best part for us was the high tea reception...
pampered with a large variety of food for food tasting purpose...
only paid $30 (per couple) registration fee for the entire event *smiles*

during the show...
many thoughts went through my mind...
when will i get married?who will i get married with?what kind of lifestyle do i really want?the extravagance or simplicity?years ago... i was clear with what i really want...
ordinary life was never in my mind...
i knew what i was looking for was more than what ordinary people could give...
i didn't want to lead a classless life...
i was certain that i want to be a high flyer.
that was probably one of the reasons why i was motivated to study hard.
but today... i'm no longer as determined as before...
i lowered my standards in all aspects of life...
and gets easily contented.
i don't know if the change is a good or bad one.
but for one thing i'm sure... i don't like the way i am..
i prefer the once confident and egoistic me.
okieokiie... enough of the emo stuff.
after the bridal show... we headed to town..
watched "alone" at cineleisure...
the movie was not as bad as what others described earlier...
considerably alright for faint-hearted people like me.
while waiting for the show...
went to play darts... dear tried to teach me again...
but he gave up on me :(
hahaa... he say never met anyone like me who can't even throw the darts right onto the board after so many tries...
god knows why... i'm pretty special huhh...
i always sit at a corner alone while dear play darts with his friends...
people kept asking me to try...
but i wouldn't because i know everyone will end up laughing at me...
and i would probably spoil all the house darts and even dear's winning darts...
because the darts always land and hit the floor with all my might.
headed home to watch "200 pounds beauty" dvd...
yeah.. i know we're lagging...
but we didn't have time to watch it at home.
anyway... the show was nice :)
my trip to bangkok is confirmed :)
will be flying off this thursday and returning on sun.
i want more dresses!
On Saturday... went to vd with summer, julian and edmund...

Woke up on sunday noon... didn't know where to go...
suggested a whole list of activities...
anyhow, law chose 'diao xia' (prawn 'fishing') and steamboat.
so we set out to Marina South for prawning...
didn't have much time... so we only stayed for an hour...
and we didn't even manage to catch any... boohoohoo.
always can't seem to pull out the right way...
the prawns stole our bait and swam away... hmpf ;(
nonetheless... we had quite a bit of fun...
we were pretty amazed by those 'pros' who caught dozens and dozens of prawns...
and glad that we were not the only ones who couldn't catch a single. lol.
hee... we're going back there again :)

after prawning... we strolled to the steamboat restaurant...
got ourselves settled down... and our steamboat session begins...

hee... time to barbecue the live prawn...
the prawn was still alive...
i feel so cruel when i placed the live prawn onto the barbeque plate...
and saw it struggled till it was fully cooked...

Went to the arcade after the steamboat...
wasted $$$ on those money-eating machines again...
i couldn't catch minnie home... :'(

Headed to cineleisure.. in hope of catching a movie...
but the movie timings were all very late...
and we had no idea what to do in the meanwhile.
So we headed to the DVD rental box at Lot 1...
wanted to rent some DVDs back to watch...
but we realised that we needed our IC for registration...
and we didn't bring our IC out... arghhh...
no choice but to head home.
afterall... it's a
happiehappieday :)
