Last thursday...
Julian and i went to taka to get birthday pressie for edward...
in the end we decided to get him the LV belt he wanted...
the belt cost a whooping $860...
but i've to admit.. it's a nice belt :)
Bro... you better take got care k...
and better be sure you still can wear it next year...
Don't tell us the belt shrinks ah... lol...
(cus he claimed that the set of Massimo Dutti clothes we bought for him last birthday shrunk)
Anyway.... once again wish you...
A very very...
Happy Birthday!
After buying the pressie...
i had to head down to Sentosa for an hour of work...
and it was siqi's first time working event...
hoped she enjoyed it :)
we were given Hawaii flowery pattern cloth...
with no instructions given which way to wear it...
so we just tied it with our own style :)
After work...
rushed down with Julian to pan pacific hotel for edward's birthday dinner...
at Hai Tien Lo restuarant...
it was a 10-course dinner in a private room...
the food was good... and so was the company...
and we had a great time joking and laughing.
Bro.. thanks for the birthday treat!
When all fun had ended...
i had to 'fly' home to burn midnight oil till next day 5pm...
to churn out an organizational research report...
which was due for submission on friday :(
it was such a torture to sit in front of the com and last through the entire night.
after submitting... i could only shut my eyes for an hour...
and had to rush down to tanjong pagar for work again till midnight :(
i was so hungry and tired after work... no food no sleep for the past 30 hours...
Dearie offered to buy me food after his darts :)
but i had eaten maggie by then... i hate maggie noodles!...
but still he bought food to my place :)
see made me eat and complained i fat! how to not fat!
oh yah.. lawrence was looking through all the photos in my com...
then he came to this particular one...
in which i was wearing corset and my shortest mini skirt...
the he ask... "You still got wear like that or not?"...
then i proudly replied... "No la... so long never wear like that already."
(because he used to complain about my ultra mini skirts)
still pointing at that photo, he said, "Like that nicer what!" -.-"'..........
argh... i thought for once he was going to praise me for not wearing those sexy clothes already.
At that moment i realized how long have i not felt 'hot'.
The word 'hot' seems a little alien to me now.
I've been wearing those flare dresses...
Is he hinting that I'm beginning to follow the path of 'yellow face auntie'?
I hope not :(

woah~... i've left my blog untouched for more than 2 weeks...
probably the longest time ever in more than 3 years...
apart from exam periods.
so it's time to blog about some happy stuff...
i know it's kind of belated...
but anyway...
My dear darlings...Happy Lunar New Year!May your year be blessed with good luck,
prosperity, good health and HAPPINESS!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope you had a memorable day spent with your loved one :)
May your days together be filled with everlasting loving moments!
i spent my v'day with....
who else... but my very chubby and cute boyfriend la.
we went to suntec and marina square...
walked around for a long time...
and saw many girls with roses...
then dearie commented that it's stupid to buy roses on v'day...
1 stalk of rose cost only $1 on normal days...
but on v'day the cost of one stalk increase to $10...
he say he might as well use the money to buy something practical... (hmpf.. so practical right!)
anyway... as usual... my boyfriend has his funny ways of reasoning things out...
which often makes me go speechless and laugh so hard.
This time... it is no exception too...
he said... "You see for yourself... all those girls holding roses one all not pretty one!"...
i counter his statement, "WHO say pretty girls cannot hold roses!"
then he say, "The flowers are even prettier than their faces!"
he added that.. it's because no one will take a glance at them normally...
so by holding the pretty bouquet of flowers, it can help attract attention.
But in actuality, everyone only look at the roses and not them.
And i said... "Then why can't I hold roses!"
(what was going through my mind was... "I not ugly what! People will still look at me and not the roses.")
He immediately responded, "That's why i don't buy for you!"
(my reaction: *boling with anger + laughing out loud*...
he meant that the roses are prettier than my face!)
but of course he was kidding- HE BETTER BE!
after walking for hours... i cannot help but to agree to his statements...
the girls who wear holding those pretty bouquet of roses were the "not-so-pretty" ones...
In the evening... we went back to Suntec to have dinner at Kushinbo again!
this time.. the variety of food was much more than usual variety...
more sashimi, more desserts :)...
... and they even had yu sheng... feels so CNY...
instead of feeling lovey dovey...

the usual hot pot...
i must say after trying so many japanese restaurants....
this hot pot soup is one of the best...

chocolate fondue!
too bad... they don't have strawberries :(
they only have grapes, banana, marshmallows and apples.

i heart you!

my valentine <3

desserts...
but honestly.. they don't taste yummy :(

v'day pressie for my dearest...

we went to take da tou pai at the arcade :)

and i really really hated the machine in the process of taking...
the camera is position at such a kuku level...
i so short already still have to bend my knees...
that means it's totally ridiculous for lawrence!...
and because we have adjust to that height within those few seconds...
we couldn't take cute cute pics :(
Fortunately, the pics didn't turn out as bad as what we thought.
If not we would have to take it that we threw $10 into that rubbish bin.
Didn't know where to go after that...
dear dear suggested movie, chillout
allowed me to go to the beach,
still i didn't feel like doing all these...
in the end... we decide to return to his place
and get the whole playstation console back to my place to play.
i can't believe i lost all the bishi bashi matches to him :(
i bet he must have train while bluffing and showing off to all those xiao mei mei at the arcade!
just so random...
i felt like taking picture with big meow meow...
cus i was wearing my hot pink stockings!

Dear dear said...
valentine's day is not a day for pressies...
it's a day to spend with the one you love.
But why does v'day feels so commercialized every year?
Whatever.
i just wanna say...
"Dear i love you!"
these few months... we have been celebrating non-stop...
November - Dearie's birthday
December - Christmas
January - My birthday
February - Valentine's day
March - 1st year anniversary (Upcoming)
that explains a really really big hole in my pocket!
and this CNY's receiving didn't contribute much to cover that hole :(
the only thing i can place hope on is...
my new source of revenue.
That brings me to what i'm going to disclose in the next upcoming post!
Check it out :)

last weekend...
went to town for shopping with my parents...
managed to get a new piece for the GUESS watch i wanted at paragon...
was really happie :)
because Takashimaya GUESS claimed that the watch is totally sold out at all outlets...
it's my bday pressie from my aunt!

On Tuesday...
jia hwa brought me for dinner at Sho-U located at The Central...
a really nice and classy restaurant with good food...
ordered lots of food...
was too busy eating till i forgot to take pictures of the pretty dishes :(
only took a few photos...
classic salad... tasted real good...

Heaven's Dew

the restaurant have 3 different concepts...
the white, red and black...
we chose the white one...

desserts - beancurd pudding, apricot cheesecake, ice cream

Tofu cheesecake

the black concept

Thanks for the treat and for bringing me to such a nice place!
on thursday...
lawrence and i went for dim sum at Xin Fu Yum Cha at International Building...

we ordered too much food...
till the waitress ask us stop ordering...
dearie said she look down on us... say we cannot eat finish!

in the end, we really couldn't finish...
but lawrence insisted that must eat finish if not very embarrassing.
so we played PSP... whoever loses the game has to eat something. hee =p
in the wee hours...
dearie say he will cook his signature dish for me... lol
i laughed at him...

but honestly... it was really delicious...
even though it's just egg with his secret recipe...
it tasted like chilli crab!

went shopping today again...
with my mum and sis...
bought loads of clothes :) and a few pair of shoes...
for every pair i bought... i have to go through a long nagging :(
"how many pairs of shoes do you want... you already have no more space...
how many pair of feet do you have... blah blah blah blah~"but i just couldn't resist...
think i should have enough clothes to last me through the 15 days of CNY!

we would often stare at those 22, 23 years old girls
and wondered why are they still clubbing
and still working as event models.
