14th March 2009
Last Saturday, March 14, dar³ and I attended Sam and Gab's ROM.
Dar and I went earlier cus gab needed dar to help out.
I rushed out of the house cus we had be there at 11am (2 hours before the ROM starts)...
and dar didn't even allow me to tidy my hair... that explains my very disheveled hair.
While the guys made an errand to the supermarket to get drinks...
I went up to sam's grandaunt's place to look for samsam...
and there she was being dolled up.
I was totally amused by the hairstylist... he is darn amazing...
he actually used a hair straightener to curl sam's hair...
and the curls are very firm and pretty.
Reason why he use a straightener instead of a curler is because
the straightener emits more heat than a curler and so the curls stay longer.
Learnt something new!
But it's quite impossible to use the straightener if you do it yourself...
cus you have to constantly move the straightener downwards as you curl...
or I least I know it's impossible to do it for my frigging long and thick hair...
my arm will probably break by the time I finish curling my hair.

The wedding march that was totally unexpected to the both...
that explains why both of them looked very shy.

Vows exchanged...

A heart-warming moment

Happily ever after...

A true candid shot... I didn't know which camera to look at...
and I don't know what was my boyfriend looking at! lol.

Somehow i think this shot is damn cute...
the three "little" boys who still squabble over the smallest issue...
like "Do Mi Re" and not "Do Re Mi"...

Girlie... I'm happy for you :)
15th March 2009
I went to the IT fair alone this time cus dar³ was activated for Shanghai. Dar wanted to get a Wireless N Network Adapter and dar's dad asked me if I could help him check out the samsung hard disk. The crowd on the last day was total madness, moreover it was during the last 2 hours. The crowd on the 2nd day wasn't as overwhelming as the last day. On the 2nd day of the fair, Dar³ and I easily bought a number of stuffs. I bought a 640GB hard disk and dar³ got himself more pc ram, a new wireless laser keyboard and mouse. This time, I had to walk round the hall 3 times before I could find the booths and items I was looking for. Almost every booth was jam packed with people checking out stuffs... and me being a shorty had a extremely hard time trying to look for the things I was looking for. Wanted to check out more stuffs but gave up in the end. In the end I only manage to buy a Wireless N Network Adapter for dar³. After that, I walked over to Millenia Walk to meet Regina. Then passed by Harvey Norman and saw Cashe. Cashe accompanied me for dinner at Marina square kolo mee before I headed home.

On Monday... I went over to dar³'s place to wait for him to be back from Shanghai...
but his flight was 1hr delayed.
By the time he reached home I had to leave for school soon...
dar³ brought me to bp plaza for dinner and sent me to school :)
After school, I went back to dar's place.
Dar bought a few DVDs back, and so we stayed home for the night.
Watch Harold and Kummar 2 Escape from Guantanamo Bay.
All set in the mood for movie time...
17th March 2009
Dar and I went to town to look for something. Had our dinner at cineleisure before we shopped around in taka. Headed back home early cus dar had a early flight the next morning.
18th March 2009
Dar left the house at 6am and did a Denpasar turn. I went to school for project meetings. Dar came to school to pick me up after his flight and we headed back home together. I was so tired that I fell asleep while dar played Left 4 Dead. Talking about this game, goodness it's the first time I'm actually willing to learn how to play RPG games. Needless to say, dar³ is the main reason why I was willing to learn. I told dar³ even when I took my gaming module, I didn't even bother to learn how to play even though it would be highly beneficial. And dar³ really taught me how to play step by step. But it came to a point where dar got so engrossed with the game, that he totally forgot that I am the one who should be playing... he kept saying "Come, this part I play for you." In the end, he finished the whole chapter himself and I fell asleep unknowingly while waiting for him to pass the mouse back to me.
Anyway, it's a first-person shooter game. The player takes control of one of the Survivors and fight through zombies.

This disgusting-looking character is called
Boomer, who is one of the "special" zombies...
His vomit blinds the player temporarily and attracts the horde of zombies.

Quite fun actually. But a little scary though, especially with the sound effects.
And it needs hell lot of concentration! Good if you are suffering from insomnia.
19th March 2009
Dar and I dragged ourselves out of bed and went to the supermarket.
Had to get some foodstuffs for pinic!
Yes! Pinic again! But not just pinic this time...
Dar³ happily chopping the celery...
seems like a 'playtime' for him.

See what did he do...

A heart-shaped formed

Boiling potatoes

Boiling eggs

Ingredients...
(you probably guessed what we were attempting)
It's POTATO SALAD!

We were rather satisfied with our potato salad! In fact, very! hahaa.
Dar said that with me very good cus he learn how to cook many things...
and he cont'd... ... ...
"BUT (in bold and caps)... I learn for the novelty of cooking...
it doesn't mean I will assume the cooking position in future!
You will do the cooking! I am not ----------!"
LOL. This is funny.
Anyway, we had to hurry our way to Sentosa before 9.30pm.
Why? Because we were going take the skyride and luge before it closes!
Last year december, I bought a pair of skyride and luge tickets as a mini surprise for dar.
We didn't make time for it until now (because the tickets will expired on 31st Mar).

On the skyride...

Our feets danggling in the air...

Took the luge back down.
This is a super toooot-looking photo of us... but I love it!

Dar³ in action...

Me in action!

Omg... it suddenly remind me of something... Mario kart!
Dar playing either Luigi or Yoshi... and me as Princess peach!
Hahaaaaa.

Fun fun! I wanna go with you again!
After that, we went back to the car and headed to Palawan beach.
Dar say he didn't want to have pinic on the sand again...
so i brought dar across the bridge to the southernmost point of asia...
had our pinic at the top level of the viewing tower.
Potato salad, Meatballs with cranberry and blueberry jam,
Doritos with salsa sauce!

Thank you for being so accommodating...
ever so willing to make things happen together with me...
and give me the magical moments I would die for.
I love you dar³.
((On a night like this, my heart sings...))
Before I forget...
this is our recipe version for the potato salad...
Ingredients:
nocoupons- 5 medium-sized white potatoes
- Kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Dill
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup chopped red onion
- 5 hard-boiled eggs (chopped)
- Bacon bits
Directions:
Place the potatoes and 2 tablespoons of salt in a large pot of water. Bring the water to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until the potatoes are barely tender when pierced with a knife. Drain the potatoes in a colander, then place the colander with the potatoes over the empty pot and cover with a clean, dry kitchen towel. Allow the potatoes to steam for 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, milk, Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Set aside.
For the hard-boiled eggs, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Chopped the egg whites into small pieces. Mash the egg yolks. Set aside.
When the potatoes are cool enough to handle, cut them in bite-size. Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl. While the potatoes are still warm, pour enough dressing over them to moisten. Add the celery, egg white, and red onion, 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Toss well, cover, and refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavors to blend. Serve cold or at room temperature. Sprinkle egg yolk and bacon bits onto the potato salad.
